Mac's Garage (Witney) Ltd

Having use the services of MAC garage to Service both our cars in the last 12 months, I can say it has been a good experience. Our usual garage we have used for over 28 years, shut down, so after careful consideration MAC Garage was the option we decided on. We our very happy with the customer service and ther have been no problems with the work. The costs have been competitive with independent garage's and considerable better than main dealers. Will be more than happy to continue using the services MAC Garage offer.

Courteous and helpful. Very detailed information on invoice Regarding work carried out on our vehicle. Used Macs Garage twice now and very satisfied with the quality of service and price for work done. Compared with our other experiences at Volkswagen dealerships these last two occasions at Macs has been cheaper and the attitude more courteous and certainly more respectful.

My car was transported to Macs. They were fully booked until 21 Feb, but managed to fit in repair only 2 days later due to a cancellation. Excellent service and a great job at a reasonable price. Will definitely use again.

This garage did an excellent job on diagnosing a temperature gauge issue on my 2013 Mercedes, and then replacing the thermostat. The work was done in half a day, the garage called me with a reasonable quote and to ask for authorisation to carry out the work. The car and temperature gauge now run perfectly. I can thoroughly recommend Mac's Garage and will certainly be back for future services/work etc.

Took my vehicle to Mac’s Garage to have its blocked diesel particulate filter chemically cleaned. This was on the recommendation of another garage which did not offer this service.I was given a price in advance of taking the vehicle to them which appeared reasonable.Long and short of the story was that an exhaust system thirteen years old is very rusty and things don’t come apart as they should so the services of a specialist to drill out sensors and retap to install new ones the repair cost rose considerably and new genuine VW sensors don’t come cheap and the timescale extended considerably.This is the first time that I have used Mac’s and although the repair cost went through the roof at no time did I feel I was being ripped off. Tony kept me informed of the reasons for the delays and why they were necessary and further delays were encountered but purely because they were not going to release the vehicle before they were happy that they had fully rectified the problem.I have waited a couple of weeks before giving this appraisal, but having now given the vehicle a couple of good runs the car is now running as it did when I bought it ten years ago and fuel economy is up some 10 - 12%.I am totally satisfied with the service I have received from Mac’s and the ability to discuss the problem with them something I feel you can no longer do with main agents!I will certainly be using them in future.

Great service, fair prices. I recently had an issue with my car which was being dealt with at another garage, who I discovered were ripping me off. Macs went through the whole issue with me and explained what I needed to do, they didn’t charge for the advice - they just wanted to help me out.
