Seoul Born

Had the Bourne Ultimatum and was warned it was spicy before confirming my order! Yep it was hot and gave me a bit of sweat on but I don’t mind that but might be too much for some. I had the small bowl and that was plenty enough for me. Chicken was juicy and plenty of it as well as the dumpling, rice etc. Good value for £8 worth a look

The chicken was absolutely to die for, it was so tasty!! Portion size was perfect, I had a small and it was just right (if you have a very big appetite, I'd probably reccomend the regular size)! Very reasonably priced and had a great variety of drinks too. Shop is a little small but there's benches nearby so it's not an issue, but the vibes inside are so chill and the music isn't too loud (perfect for lunch with a friend)! The bowl had a very good amount of chicken, I was honestly surprised, very very good value for money! I had just about got settled at our table when my order was called, so efficient!

The food is quite good quality but we made the mistake of having the Born Ultimatum - the heat was far too much, it meant you could taste the actual food.The portion size is good, I had a small and my husband had a regular - his was swimming in hot sauce.Four stars is fair for a quick cheap fill up.

A very popular local street food kitchen. (Albeit rather Seouless on the inside)The dishes are a nod to the Bourne movies, which is a fun touch and clear it’s a local, independent with some character.No chilli / spice ratings on menus, which might prove a problem with those who are sensitive to spice (think of those friends who go for the lime or garlic sauce at a well known chicken joint) or children. But as fans of spicy food, no problem.The Bourn Ultimatum was “blow your head off” spicy - prepare for runny noses, watery eyes and lots of other diners commenting on how spicy the food is. This spoilt it for me (-1 star for the food being too spicy - even for someone with an Asian taste palette - and for no clear spice rating on the menu) and the majority of drinks are £2.10 for a Diet Coke or for something a little more exotic.The food (Bourn Ultimatum) was great though! (See pic!) full over flavour and beautifully presented.The only other negative was that the restaurant was very smoky (poor ventilation) and the windows had thick condensation (too busy) and was very busy. (-1 star for this - but easily addressable)

Best chicken dumplings I've ever had, highly recommend

Absolutely top drawer eatery. I've had Chopstix, Signature (formerly Noodle Bar) Norwich but Seoul Born takes the lead. I ordered the Ultimatum Chicken Box which had 20 pieces of battered chicken of chicken select" size with drizzle and herbs. I wouldn't complain about the lack of noodles or vegetables as the portions for £7 were a steal that make other afforementioned joints seem a rip off now by comparison. Edit yet if you get the rice bowls you do get carbs and veg but less pieces of chicken. Points deducted for lack of seating as queues out the door suggest this place would do better elsewhere."

A new little gem for the korean/asian food lovers :)

I order the Born Ultimatum rice box today for Lunch and it was delicious! (I order for a small portion but they accidently made a regular for me, I'm totally pleased with ). There was a good balance of vegetables and the apple kimchi gave such a good texture with the entire rice box! The chicken was a good level of spice and they didn't lack in their sauce :)I think it was slightly busy today but the wait wasn't too long!!Would totally recommend this place <33

I had the born legacy and it was delicious. Great food and incredible price!

The portions offered are generously sized, especially considering the price. The food, particularly the chicken, was pleasantly juicy and tasted good. However, the dining experience could be improved with additional seating space and by keeping the door closed during winter for a cozier atmosphere.
