A pricey lunch but the food was sooo good! Went Saturday lunchtime and it was quiet. Need more staff still as service was stretched thin.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely food and a nice selection of wines.We went on a weekday and it was a pleasant atmosphere.Our waitress Sabrina was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. All round lovely time and would recommend.

We visited for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back.The pub was packed but Rob kindly found us a table in the bar. The food and service were excellent. The pub was pretty and a nice atmosphere.

We had such a great experience at this pub. Service is welcoming, friendly and really quick. The food was really nice - a menu with a really good range, all the classics but some tasty alternatives as well and dietary requirements are catered for. Good kids’ menu. The food itself was very nice. The garden out the back is lovely, lots of seating and a little kids play area. Staff were great with our toddler and the other kids around. I’d definitely come back.

This is a very nice pub that serves great food. I visited with my dining companion at a quiet time of the week, so atmosphere wasn't buzzing but that was to be expected. I imagine this would be a very busy place at weekends.I had the venison bourguignon that was perfectly cooked and well presented; my companion, a vegan, was very happy with her dish.Good selection of beers. And wines, but as we were both driving neither of us could sample them.I must return when I'm not driving!

The staff were lovely and the environment was great. I was quite disappointed with the pudding I ordered. I am not usually fussy but I ordered strawberries and cream and I got: a single strawberry sliced into four pieces, one crushed merengue nest and a small scoop of cream. Bearing in mind the dessert was £7 worth, I was actually shocked with what came.I was expecting something like a Sundae Cup or at least a full bowl with at least 8 strawberries!

I had the beetroot cured salmon open sandwich for lunch, it came with no chips like all the other sandwiches did, so I ordered a separate portion. Thank goodness I did and I wasn't too hungry! The open sandwich was more like a starter and consisted of one fairly small piece of bread, an absolute slither of salmon, a bit of beetroot and a load of rocket and that was almost £10!! Shocking to be honest as all the other sandwiches my family ordered were stacked to the rafters and came with chips. Wrong choice unfortunately as everyone else enjoyed there's. And I do like the pub but will never order that again!

Beautiful building good decor staff pleasant. Food was ok but that is all. Big negative for me does not take cash pub up the road The Fox proudly announce we take cash. Although the decor was fine and the staff pleasant the place was soul less. Unfortunately, The Fox was shut on a Monday so we had to use the Worlds End. Had it been open I would have turned around as soon as I saw the no cash sign. Garden very good, building nice. Toilets good. Typical managed house needs a governor and ditch the no cash nonsense until then it’s the Fox up the road every time for me.
