Working with Adelina has been an absolute pleasure. She made a fantastic headline to our ‘Ada Lovelace Week’ event, which is an annual initiative we put on to recognise and celebrate the amazing female technical talent we have. Adelina’s session was not only inspiring, but also was very well-tailored to suit our audience. Her co-design approach allowed attendees to shape the session to suit their own individual requirements. We had such great engagement during the session, and if anything, it definitely wasn’t long enough! Our attendees boasted higher levels of confidence after the session and many reached out to her directly to further a dialogue. We would absolutely love to have Adelina back at Fujitsu.

Adelina gave an enthused presentation to councillors and staff on the equalities act. She made the subject easy to follow and feedback from those who attended was highly positive. They valued her presentation style which was entertaining, simplistic, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Many found the subject matter a chore but felt that Adelina made it fun but also informative and came away feeling more confident of how to deliver equalities within their role. Personally I found it a joy working with Adelina leading up to the training and on the day itself and the additional information she shared afterwards has been very valuable indeed.

I've enjoyed a workshop on 'giving and receiving feedback' by Adelina about a year ago. What I learned in the workshop has empowered me to give feedback in challenging situations. On a few occasions I have contacted Adelina for advice on how to implement the techniques she taught to a particular situation. She has been incredibly generous with her time and invaluable advice. Her extensive experience makes her certainly an outstanding teacher, but above all: she teaches with a heart!

Adelina is awesome! Her insight into how we can communicate effectively with our customers was amazing. Adelina has great coaching skills, she spends time really trying to get deep into the message we want to land and then breaks it down into steps to help us ensure our message is landing well. Personally I would recommend Adelina to any company wanting to improve how we speak to our business.On a personal level Adelina is warm and kind. Adelina helped me better understand what was required to prepare for and successfully engage with a new career opportunity as well as my market worth across differing company types. There was a fork in my career path to either move to a different company doing a similar role with much bigger and interesting challenges or stay in my current company yet move to a completely different role with another set of challenges.Straight-shooting and not prone to waffle or exaggerate, Adelina immediately added value that helped me get what I needed despite the one hour session bringing her deep yet varied industry experience to bear. Firstly, she brought clarity by helping me understand what information I needed in order to gain a better definition of both roles and the terms surrounding them. Secondly, she confirmed what my instincts were telling me - ergo me reaching out to her - with further probing questions and salient facts. Thirdly she challenged some of my preconceptions and advised how to better engage with both companies to maximise a successful and fair outcome for all involved. Finally, she let me know that she was there if I need her support and to follow up as she was keen to know the outcome thus showing how much she cares.Ultimately, I believe I gained a better result and one which I am more confident about because of Adelina's input.What is clear to me is that Adelina helping her clients with career advice including the tactics and strategy to realise that advice is very much part of her vocation. I am grateful for her support and highly recommend her services.

I used to talk about my business the way I would talk science, in a dry and abstract way. Adelina coached me through the process of developing my very technical academic explanation to an engaging pitch that captures the attention of the audience. Bang! The difference was stark! I can now give a captivating 5 min pitch about my business and I have learnt to customise my speech to my audience. I have given several pitches since my practise session with Adelina, and I have received tremendous feedback from the audience! I had the privilege to attend one of Adelina's workshops on business development 'Why, What, How'. Working in training commissioning myself, I tend to have very high standards of any training I attend but I was blown away by Adelina's workshop. She brought new concepts to the table that I have never heard before and challenged existing assumptions in a fun and engaging way. The fast pace, practical application and her ability to meet the needs of a highly diverse range of people in the room was excellent. The best thing was that I was able to implement her recommendations the very next day with a measurable impact on engagement from partners. I attended a workshop that Adelina ran at the Future Business Centre in Cambridge and felt compelled to connect and recommend her. I very much enjoyed her lively, informative, fun and energetic presentation and would go again without hesitation. Her enthusiasm and openness created an atmosphere where people were happy to share their experiences and challenges, without any feelings of judgement, leading to some interesting and very relatable discussions.
