Mowgli Street Food
The decoration inside is so cute, it was what made us want to try the restaurant. Food was so tasty, the monkey wrap was especially good. We also got the butter curry, and 2 mocktails. The portion size is perfect for lunch, they’ll advise you that the plates aren’t too big so to get a couple of things if you’re wanting a bigger meal. They also add a service charge and £1 charity donation onto the receipt but they'll tell you it is optional.

This is not Indian British food also.Taste is horrible except yoghurt chat bombs and roti.chicken dish was just chicken and tomato puree.bhel puri was bitter and paneer dish was sour.god knows how are you even still in business. Total 38pounds went to waste.never ever going back. Time to change chef and menu.over priced and very small portions

Mowgli Street Food in Sheffield offers a decent dining experience. While the food is tasty, it falls slightly short in terms of authenticity, as it's less spicy than traditional Indian cuisine. However, their mango lassi and mutton dishes stand out positively. One downside was the dry rice, which could have been better. And, compared to the portion size they offer it’s a bit overpriced. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy a flavorful meal with a few minor improvements.

Wow the food was amazing here. And the allergen menu was fabulous and made life really easy for us that are gluten & dairy intolerant.The service was friendly and helpful.The atmosphere was lovely, we sat at a regular table but there are swing sets for some tables too.Nice drinks menu too.Recommend booking, we booked on the day of visiting and had only a very small window of available seats so good to think ahead of wanting to go.We're looking forward to returning very soon.

Great Indian street food-inspired food with lots of very tempting veggie and vegan options. The lovely atmosphere ties in with the street food vibe with nice lighting and wood and metal details. Great service, staff are very helpful.Between two we went for about 6 small dishes which was more than enough and everything was great. The chip butty and fish curry were definitely my favourites, so flavoursome and delicious. As were the yoghurt chat bombs, never had anything like them! Nice cocktails too, with Indian-inspired flavours.

Really great experience. Service was really friendly and super fast. Everyone really loved their food and my cocktail was great as well. Good selection of plant based food and it was really great that the allergen information was on the back of the menu. The atmosphere was also lovely and the decor was excellent! Will absolutely be coming back!

What a little gem of a place! We were staying in sheffield for 2 nights to celebrate my 2 nieces birthdays. One picked mowgli to eat at the first night we were there. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff. To be fair, every staff member that dealt with us was all smiles and super friendly! We were seated at the swing table which we loved! The food came out hot, fresh and delicious! We had cocktails and my niece tried the orange wine, which she liked. We ordered too many dishes to name but trust me, every one was gorgeous! The disappointing thing is we live too far from sheffield to return!

Nos llamó la atención por el diseño que tiene el restaurante, por fuera se ve cálido, con luces ténues de rollo navideño. Nada más entrar, la recepcionista te pregunta si quieres carta vegana o no. Una vez que nos sentamos, nos atendió un chico que era algo desagradable sobretodo al final que por un error del datafono nos contestó de manera antipática quenla tarjeta no funcionaba cuando el error era del wifi del local. Respecto a la comida, las cantidades son algo pequeñas para el precio que tienen, precio que en la carta aparece sin IVA y que al traerte la cuenta notas la subida. Los CHAT BOMBS es lo que menos tardaron en servirnos, merece la pena. Sin embargo los otros 2 platos tardaron más. Los GUNPOWDER sabían demasiado a cilantro. El TEMPLE DAHL con arroz fue lo que más nos llenó. No pudimos disfrutar mucho de la cena ya que había mucha gente y mucho ruido.

Nice venueFriendly serviceOver priced tiny dishesNothing special and I saw all the massive tubs of the curry sauces lined up on the kitchen floor .The thing that really disappointed me was the chapatis of you can call them that, were clearly form a factory not fresh chapatis like every other curry house . I would go back again
