Kevin was super helpful at a distance and helped me find a old hanger for my cube bike. He went out of his way to assist me and ensure that I received the missing piece of my bike. Thank you.

NOT RECOMMEND!!! Bike has more faults after service then before. I brought my bike around a month ago and decided to go with the silver service. In total it was £200 (with new cassette and chain). On the day I picked up the bike I noticed one cable is kinked/falling out from a fitting, I came back and I was told they didn't do cables as I said I don't need new handlebar tape but cable was in miserable state(shame they didn't mention tape=cable). After first ride I heard something was ratling- the rear hub had untightened cones which made wheel loose by 5cm!!! Luckily it didn't kill me. When I came back with this they said it is not their fault (week after service where they where asked to fix it as it was 1mm loose they managed to make it 50times worse). Few rides later crank started to make noises (probably bearing has been broken) and today crank arm has fell off!!! Too many coincidence after one service

Took my bike in for an upgrade after being recommended that the mechanic here was top notch. I was not disappointed. Kevin has transformed my ten year old Raleigh Cross bike into effectively a new bike. I had the opportunity to speak with Kevin when I collected the bike. He is a genuine customer focussed person and clearly a great cycle mechanic. Thank you Kevin for what you have done for me and I cannot recommend him high enough to anyone who wants to have their bike serviced, upgraded or repaired.

Had issues with tyres and brakes on bike. Team were helpfull and responsive. It's my first choice now when it comes to all things bicycle related. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service from the St Ives store from knowledgeable staff - Mark, Steve, Kev and David. We've bought or replaced four cycles from the store over four years and the team ensured our requirements were met. When a part failure occurred the problem was quickly and pleasantly resolved. I would strongly recommend the shop.

Broke a spoke in my rear wheel riding into St. Ives. Called in to Richardsons on the off chance of repair whilst I ate at the Commute Cafe. David was immediately helpful and did an excellent repair whilst I enjoyed tea and cake. Brilliant service . 5 stars.

Kevin and his team were very helpful and knowledgeable. They have done a great job on my bike at a really good price. I've used this shop for over 40 years and have always been pleased.

Amazing service. I arrived en route riding from London to Edinburgh with a wheel where the hub had self-destructed just outside St Ives. They immediately sorted me out with a new wheel which they fitted in the time it took for me to go and have a coffee. The wheel was set up perfectly and I happily (if at times painfully) was able to complete the ride rather than abandon, entirely thanks to them.
