I don’t even want to give one star never answer phone been trying all day not one answer. Is there anyone even working ? Terrible service I am disabled and cannot get to the pharmacy

Very frustrating no one ever picks up the phone.

I can only leave one star as I was just turned away from having the flu jab as I was told that I didn't meet the requirements but both Gov and NHS websites state I am entitled.

Staff always very friendly and prescriptions filled quickly

This pharmacy used to be superb with long opening hours including weekends. Now it has very truncated hours. Actually, I now wonder about the ethics of the company behind it - did they start to operate with long opening hours in order to encourage the other pharmacy over the road (a Lloyds Pharmacy) to close down, and once the immediate local competition was shut down, they could have a substantial reduction in opening hours? The surgery that rents the space to this company should perform a serious review of the service level agreement with the company running the pharmacy. As I can no longer get to the pharmacy when I want to, I might as well change to an online pharmacy that sends me medication by mail without charge. I have rated this with one star because they have completely eliminated their Unique Selling Point, and because their existence prompted the closing of nearby competition, I have serious doubts about company ethics.

Incredibly slow service, with no apology or greeting when they do finally get to you. With the current situation they are quite rightly only letting one person in the pharmacy at a time, so there’s usually a large queue going out the door, but it takes them on average 10 mins per person so you’re facing a wait of around 30 mins if there’s even 3 people in front of you (although I’ve had to wait double this before). Then on top of that they let people jump the queue if they come in from the other door (to the surgery) so that makes the wait even longer. Extremely frustrating, especially on days like today when I’ve waited 30 mins to get in the door (then wait for the queue jumper to be served before I was) to be told they don’t have my prescription despite the GP reassuring me this morning he would do it straight away. That part of course isn’t their fault, but it does mean that I need to come back later and do the huge queue all over again, while feeling unwell and with no seating outside for the queue. Usually I go with Pharmacy2U to avoid all this but sometimes, like today, an emergency prescription is needed so I don’t have a choice.

Always have my medication ready week in week out and there under so much pressure too god bless them all you keep the country running regardless hopefully soon you can all have a well deserved rest thank you from my haert

Unprofessional, rude, put in requests for the wrong prescriptions and confidentiality is poor. Wouldn't recommend using this pharmacy.

As a person who has received a letter from the NHS stating they need to stay in the house for 12 weeks this pharmacy has offered no help to me. I put a repeat in last week, phoned up to see if it is ready and was told, “I have a prescription here, but I couldn’t tell you if it’s ready or not. Come up and we will tell you”. I can’t come up because I can’t leave the house and every time my husband comes up he is putting me at risk! While I was on the phone I put another repeat in for some more meds and she told me that she didn’t know when it would be ready, maybe next week sometime maybe the week after (these meds, keep me alive, so to be told that is very worrying) I asked if they could phone me when ready and she said that they had millions of patients, and if they had to phone everyone when their script was ready they would always be on the phone! Yes but I can’t get out the house!! Help me, a little! Since Avicenna took over it’s gone downhill anyway but this really did take the biscuit. .
