Lily Walker Centre

Lily Walker Centre saved my life and I will always be grateful to everyone I met here. I was treated with the utmost care and respect by the staff and just can't thank then enough.Dundee City Council can be very proud of this homeless service and I recommend everyone who stays here to spend ten mins looking up who Lily Walker acty was and give thanks!

Not good for people with mental health issues and and no support in general either!!

I rate them 0 told me I will have to sleep on the streets tonight and come bk tomorrow disgraceful.

Very confusing for people like me who have never been in this type of crisis situation. Obviously, I am grateful for the fact that I was placed in a warm and safe environment that very day, but now that it's been 4 days, I feel like someone should have made contact with me by now to help me understand the process and what steps I need to take, what my options are, what assistance is available, ect ect. The experience of suddenly being homeless is absolutely terrifying and I felt like my life was over and that things would just cojy to get worse for me. Plus, I'm all alone and this is perhaps the worst feeling that a human being will ever feel. It's very scary and depressing. So, I feel that there should be more time spent with those of us who have never been through anything like this ever in their lives before to help alleviate a least a bit of our anxiety and fear and give us some sense of security and hope. This would be easily accomplished by the staff members reaching out to us within the first day or two , if only for 10 minutes, just to see how we are doing and give us a rough idea of what is going to happen next.
