I am a retired carpet man. Salesman, estimator, planner and store manager with over 45 years experience.The service I received from this store was a breath of fresh air. Not in the least pushy, competitively priced, great choice of rolls and remnants.Carpet fitted well and promptly on the day arranged. I will be buying the rest of the carpets I need from Direct Carpets of Trimdon.

Debbie came out to my house the day after I rang her measured the hole house in less than a week I had my carpets brilliant job and very quickly layed as well as the laminate flooring I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Absolutely incompetent , empty kitchen was measured by the staff who turned up with no tape measure so I provided this , should have been a red flag instantly however I continued picked and paid for lino only for it to come and be 10 inches to small for the room , called through in a panic as the fitter was here and all I got was complete attitude from staff who had no empathy for the mistake they had made and the frustration this caused me. Definitely will not be returning and I advise anyone to avoid this shop , I wouldn't even give this 1 star but had to for this post
