I made absolutely the right choice with Robert Cooney and his fantastic team when I had to sell my mum's bungalow. The valuation and marketing strategy was spot on and there was no shortage of viewers and offers. Unfortunately, the transaction wasn't straightforward and the first sale fell through at the eleventh hour (no fault of RC), but the team always had my back and my best interests at heart. The selling team are amazing and so is Sarah and the sales progression team. It made a big difference to have this dedicated service once a sale had been agreed. Super friendly, polite, professional - I could run out of superlatives to describe them. Suffice to say, when we decide to put our own house up for sale Robert Cooney will be my first (and only) point of call. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks to you all and miss the laughs Gail. x

One member of the team stood out for us though, and that was Sarah, who went above and beyond her role on our behalf. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She deserves a medal!!

We chose Robert Cooney as we preferred to work with a local independent business rather than a corporate chain. The initial marketing was handled well, with excellent photographs. We had an offer from the second people to view which was terrific. When we had issues with the upward chain Sarah stepped in and went above and beyond to ensure that we completed when we needed to. Rohini has also been an excellent point of contact.

From the first moment I started to interact with the staff of Robert Cooney, in Taunton, I knew I had made the right choice. They dealt with me from 3,500 miles away, and a 5 hour time difference effortlessly. They dealt sensitively to my circumstance, they kept me informed and up to date and they did it with humour and professionalism. I would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone looking for an exceptional buying or selling experience. I know they are a fabulous team, but I have to individually thank Gail and Sarah for all they did, they were quite wonderful!

From viewing through to completion on my home, they communicated responses quickly and kept on top of legal teams to ensure a completion in 6 weeks. They listened and carried out my wishes when needed. I have really appreciated all the help and hard work the team at Robert Cooney have put into selling our house. They communicated well throughout, especially in the latter stages when there needed to be lots of contact between parties. Very impressed with the team at Robert Cooney, in particular Gail and Sarah, who provided an excellent service for our house sale. There was strong communication to keep me informed and a friendly, personal approach. There proved to be some chain-related challenges along the way and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure the sale was completed successfully - an invaluable part of an estate agent's service.

We soon realised that Robert Cooney were offering a very poor service. We bought the house despite them not with help from them. Communication was atrocious, often incorrect and very slow. We had asked for a gas certificate shortly after we had our offer was confirmed, our Solicitor and our estate agent also repeatedly requested this and I finally arranged a gas engineer to do this within days of exchange. They say they are looking after their seller but on many occasions i felt this was not the case. When I asked during our first viewing what could Gail tell us about the house Gail’s comment was well they lived here 40 years and had not done anything to it. This was while I was outside looking at the marks where insulation had been inserted in the walls and I had just seen a fairly new shower room. Surely you have answers to questions before showing a property. Also no idea where the loft hatch was and very flippant. Rohini again very little help. When we asked for a second viewing with a builder she arrived late then after 1/4 hour said you have 10 minutes as I have to be somewhere else. A third viewing was needed to complete the information we required. That was when it was pointed out a viewing is 20 minutes long. Sarah rang and pressured me to give a date we wanted to move on,so my hopes were up that we were on the move. I contacted my solicitor to advise the chosen date and he advised she can’t make that decision as the checks and queries were not complete and it is not something the agent can decide on. It was that point I decided I would not speak to them again. We were considering not buying the property because of Robert Cooney as we felt unsure if they were poor at their job or hiding something about the property. I would not recommend dealing with them.
