Fran & Taj came to the rescue as I struggled to make my dress that I bought online modest (I'm Muslim). I was close to returning my dress I bought elsewhere as I was giving up until I came across Fran & Taj. At the first consultation they showed me exactly how they could make the dress modest while still making me look beautiful. They also taught me how to walk slowly in my dress and also taught my mother and maid of honour how to hold my dress and help me to get into it. Fran & Taj went above and beyond and gave up so much of their time to help across all my multiple fittings. I'm so glad I chose them as if you see for yourself the dress just looked STUNNING! They are super super friendly and absolutely talented, would highly recommend them for tailoring or creating a bespoke dress :) xx

Fran made the whole experience of designing my wedding dress effortless and a dream. She really ensured I was happy with the design and final dress and could tell when I wasn't 100% sure about certain features and made sure I left each fitting happy and stress free! I would absolutely recommend Fran, especially if you have a particular dress in mind but want your own take on it.

Where to start? Fran, Taj and the entire team are truly incredible!I had 3 wedding dresses (I know!) made by them in a matter of months, to an incredible standard, with nothing but smiles throughout the process. My dresses were out of this world, with a train that barely fit in the studio. Nothing was too big an ask for Fran and her team. When I was stressed, I knew I could trust Fran to deliver.Fran even came on my wedding day to dress me in the morning, juggling her day around to accommodate me, as it was a last minute request. She jumped into action when my coordinator had not done things, and we were running behind.I wish I could give her more stars. Fran is absolutely amazing!!! Fran was introduced to me via Russell at Blackburn Bridal to fit my Wedding dress. As it was for a 2020 Wedding, we ended up having to change plans/clothing multiple times, Fran was so incredibly kind, helpful, supportive and generous throughout. Fran has since worked on two further garments for me, and each of them are a piece of art! I'm so excited to follow her work and upcoming collections, she is a superstar. Thank you Fran!

Fran is one wonderfully talented lady!Fran was recommended to me by Russell at Blackburn Bridal and from the moment I met her I was made to feel at such ease. With the pandemic making the timing for my dress alterations a little tight, Fran was brilliant at getting my dress ready in only 2 weeks! Fran has a beautiful selection of her own dresses but knew my Anna Kara dress well and was able to alter it perfectly :) Throughout both of my appointments with Fran I had such a wonderful time talking all things wedding & being made to feel like the only bride in the world! I can not recommend Fran highly enough- both herself & her studio are beautiful! :)

Fran is the best! She altered my dress to perfection. She was so amazing to work with, and reasonably priced. She made me feel so comfortable during the whole process from start to finish. She immediately puts you at ease with her warmth and passion for what she does. I cannot recommend Fran more for alterations. She made me feel so amazing on my wedding day, and I am incredibly grateful for that!

I came to Fran to alter my WED2B wedding dress and overskirt in late 2019. Fran advised it was too soon to have these altered for my May 2020 wedding, but was kind enough to offer a quote from the pictures I sent her.I visited Fran for the first time right before the first lockdown, and she was both professional and friendly, understanding everything I needed altered.Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone several times, and Fran was incredibly accommodating, keeping them with her until our final date, and adapting to our schedule for the second and last fittings.The result was incredible! She both made the dress smaller and the skirt bigger, ensuring both fitted me and each other perfectly, looking like a single dress when together. Thank you so much, Fran!
