Respect Woodland Green Burial Parks

Situated with busy road traffic just the other side of a hedge on 2/3 of its sides. Not a peaceful location and very unprepossessing.

Beautiful place and very respectful yet uplifting ceremony.

The only place I found in Yorkshire that would allow pet burials. Great set of people and the surroundings are lovely. Absolutely recommend the burial park

Very nice idea clean area and nice owners

Set in natural surroundings this green cemetery has become more popular recently, plots are marked by a tree that has a plaque fixed to it. This quiet area has seating available and is open for visitors at all times.

If you listen to the video I posted that's the reason for the 4 stars. The noise from the main road that runs alongside the site is for me too intrusive. I'm surprised that trees and/or hedges haven't been planted to reduce this as it's been in use since at least 2011 according to one burial plot. The site itself is maintained at the level you would expect of a woodland burial area. For me it was nice to see some pets had been buried here as well. The one plus point to it's location is that your unlikely to encounter anyone other than someone who has specifically gone to visit it. So not many worries over people travelling through, our suddenly encountering a group of people that were there for any reason other than to visit the site. Sadly the owner have had to put up a notice about litter being left in the car park area.

Not been there, but took the sunsets from the train... The five star rating is for the One who created the sunsets! 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,' which is the first verse in the first book of the Bible, Genesis.
