be careful. We went for counselling as wife was thinking of separating and during the induction, the counselor was extremely biased. Having identified that my wife was angry, she kept listening and nodding whenever she complained (most of the time) and as soon as I started speaking, I was interrupted with but ... can you see ...".I thought Counselors were supposed to be good at listening. To top it off

I have serious emotional distress and have a strong desire to end my life. My situation becomes worse after meeting with them. They discouraged me and made me feel useless. I have suicide thought again after contacted them. Now I refuse to seek any professional help.

They never answer phone calls. I called them around 20 times, they didn't answer even once. Very strange institution.

A therapist has not shown up to an online session scheduled, and no effort was made to reach out. I have tried calling them to find out what happened but constantly sent to voicemail. Not only is this one of the worst things a therapist can do, I have also spent £60 I might not ever get back.

Aweful experince with the cheating admin staff wanting to keep the deposit payment, and making up lies to justify it, despite whats already stated on their website, emails and posterboard. Extermely rude and unprofessional, don't be fooled, they are far from a charity, rather, a charity only willing to help themselves!!!

Good experience with the relationship counselling and dealing with Relate in general. Friendly staff and counsellors.Had issues at some point reaching the office to cancel an appointment, and therefore couldn't cancel in time. After a brief chat, they did actually cancel out the deposit fee for not being able to cancel.

We found the experience of relationship counselling a very helpful and positive one.Our counsellor was kind and non judgemental and encouraged a safe space or us to discuss what each of us felt unhappy with and then explored how we could work together to improve our relationship. We have learnt what to value in each other and the partnership that we have and now face the future with a much more positive attitude about our lives together.I would highly recommend Cambridge Relate not only to couples in difficulties but to anyone who wants to think about the future of their relationship.

Our counsellor was very quick to identify the causes of our communication issues and provided constructive advice to help us work through them together. I would recommend this service to anyone who feels they could benefit from relationship counselling.
