I take my car here. My parents take both their cars here.They offer a great value service and do what's needed very well (they will inform you of anything unexpected).The admin side is very good. You never need to worry, they keep you informed about parts, costs time etc. Very good company to deal with.

Over charged?I was quoted £156 for replacement of both front coil springs on 54 polo. (My Daughters car). I was contacted shortly after dropping the car in, and was told that both the anti roll bar links had been cut off due to being seized.My Daughter went to collect car and was presented with a bill for £241. She was shown the cut links.The replacement anti roll bar links were £34 inc vat. Add that to the quoted £156, gives £190.There was a side light bulb also replaced. £1. This was fitted without labour charge.I went to question the bill the next day and was shown the anti roll bar links of which the nuts had been cut off on one end of each. They didn’t look corroded, but I will have to concede that it was absolutely necessary to cut the links.I was told the discrepancy of £50 was made up by 1/2 an hour’s labour EACH SIDE to cut off the links!This extra hour was on top of the time factored in to remove the links in the original quote.How long does it take to cut through 2 nuts. At Manders, it takes an hour!(Costs rounded to nearest £)

Charged 72£ for an AC leak test wouldn't recommend very expensive, suggest to be aware when enquiring about AC issues.

Took my Mondeo for a new power steering pump. Peter went out his way to get one from Germany.Great communication and always very friendly.Very efficient, and always takes time out to explain everything.Thanks again to Peter and all the staff at Manders.Would definitely recommendCheers,Vince

I have used Manders for a few years now for MOT and servicing my car. I have always found them to be friendly, professional and fair in their business practices. For example, I was once called to be informed they had given me the wrong estimate on tyres and that they would in fact be cheaper. I also recently had a minor issue with a fitted tyre that was not their fault looked at again free of charge. Thank you all at Manders.

I visited Manders garage Ripley for a quote for a full service for my car which they gave me no problems so I booked it in. On the day of service they found that my front brakes and disc were in a poor state so they rang me gave me a quote and told me its up to me if they do the work. My first thoughts were safety so I said fix for me.Thank you very much to Peter and his staff the car is running great and it stops.THANK YOU

I have had many experiences with garages over the years some good some bad but I have found manders staff workmanship and relyabiity unbeatable. In my opinion you can put your in them 100%

The Manders team are professional, friendly, helpful... Will go the extra mile. They have returning customers for a very good reason. Workmanship is top notch. Peter is a VW campervan guru. Will be back and will certainly recommend.
