I am glad I attended the Whitewed Supplier workshop as it was so well organised with good SMEs taking great and helpful subjects. There are lots of wedding directories out there so I was sceptical about joining another but I am so glad I did. The Whitewed Directory is the only one that cares enough about couples to vet their members. I feel really reassured when I work at a wedding with whitewed suppliers as I know that the day will run smoothly. Whitewed is the only advertising I pay for and it is worth every penny! Just the shows alone generate so much interest and business and the venues are beautiful! I have never not had a booking of some kind from a wedding show with Whitewed.Whitewed get togethers are fantastic! I have 2 wedding bookings, 3 hair ups and a catch up and hair and makeup play around after the last get together! They are wonderful and makes me not feel like a lonely self-employed hairstylist!

As a newcomer to the wedding industry, my goal was to build a network of other florists and wedding professionals so that I could quickly grow my knowledge. Being a Whitewed member has made this possible in so many ways, and I’ve been thrilled and humbled by the generosity of everyone we’ve met. The Whitewed Wedding Shows have introduced me to lots of different people and this has led to exciting opportunities to collaborate. Just one example was a recent styled photo shoot which I coordinated following an informal chat over a glass of wine at a Whitewed get-together. The results surpassed our expectations and were recently published by a leading wedding blog. The business benefits have been great with a steady stream of direct enquiries from the website Directory and lots of bookings from Wedding Shows. We now have a full diary for this year and several weddings booked already for next year. We have a saying in our house about winning new business: ‘if you want to get wet, stand where it’s raining.’ Being a Whitewed member ensures a lot of lovely rain!

We have been a member of Whitewed for 5 years, and have worked closely with Natalie and her team in planning events, both weddings and private parties. Whitewed is a valuable asset to our business in terms of having a platform where we can share ideas and also have a voice in all things related to event planning and management. After re-opening my business, I was determined not to spend too much time alone, as working from home can be a lonely business! I joined Whitewed to meet other suppliers and people that really understand the wedding business - I look forward to the get-togethers, have built up a great network of fellow suppliers and have made some great friends. From this I am now able to use fellow members skills and support their businesses too. I don’t feel alone anymore, and the Whitewed Members Facebook group is a great place to ask questions and get help. The Wedding Shows have been amazing for my business. I know that Natalie and her team put all their effort into every Show. They are well organised, advertised and have a high standard of suppliers. Couples are reassured by the Whitewed ‘Stamp of Approval’ and I’m very proud to be part of that.

The Whitewed Directory is no ordinary information website just for brides and grooms. As a member I have always felt that the suppliers mean as much to the directory as the couples that use its service. The Whitewed team are approachable and willing offer advice, they also go to huge lengths to making everyone feel welcome and that they are part of a team. As a member I am a surrounded by a like-minded community that I really wouldn't want to be without.

As a wedding supplier what attracted me to The Whitewed Directory was that each and every supplier listed for Bride & Grooms are individually vetted and approved, meaning each supplier has to be insured, have wedding reviews from real couples and follow a code of practice. Whitewed really is a great resource for couples planning their wedding day, not only do they have a great directory but a great blog regularly updated and they always have plenty to see on social media.The wedding fairs are well organised and its always a pleasure to work alongside Natalie and her team plus all the other Whitewed suppliers. We have been advertising and exhibiting at Whitewed wedding fairs for a couple of years and look forward to continually working with them in the future.
