Best fish and chips in Ipswich! Been there recently. I ordered two large portion of cod with chips. The chips was very good, and cod was tasty, it was not oily, not dry either. I really enjoyed it. Portion was very generous, it was enough for us three of us. I took the curry sauce with it. Very good service over the counter. Will definitely recommend to others and will myself buy from there again.

They do the most delicious potato scallops.. batter is superb and light.. I had a chippy butty as well.. which was lovely xx

It's not bad although you only get 3 peices of cod bites as in codfellas you get 5 for same price although they do oap deal as codfellas do not

Used to use this one years ago (1980s!). New owners so thought we’d give a try… wow! Love the online ordering and paying online too, so easy to do, select the time you want collect and job done, turn up, collect, simple as that.Cod and chips were fantastic, the medium cod was a good size, chips were so tasty! Even the cat enjoyed some cod too and he approved of it! Well done, good luck with the shop and all the best for the future, we will be back as it’s the best “plaice” for fish and chips!

Absolutely brilliant Fish and Chips plus a very comprehensive menu at a very reasonable price. Staff are very pleasent and helpful and premises spotless. If you haven't tried them I recommend you do as you will not be disappointed. Fish is cooked to order so very fresh and batter lovely and crispy.

Just ordered from here for the first time. Quite disappointing. Firstly the woman on the counter was ever so rude! Does not look good for the reputation of the company. Cod batter was soggy and overly greasy which wasn’t pleasant. Sausages were given to the dogs as no one liked them, hard batter and what my daughter did eat she needed to take the batter off to chew it. Chips were edible however could’ve been cooked longer and didn’t look like they touched the fryer for more than 30 seconds. Safe to say we won’t be returning.
