Derwent Park

A relatively unknown area of what's commonly referred to as Darley Park (although it's actually a number of different parks).It's very quiet as the majority of people stick to the river area, lots of birds and squirrels around.Good area for dog walkers and those who want peace and quiet, the paths form a loop from Darley Park; however, you can also access it from the A6 Duffield Road.

Lovely park. Free parking on the street outside. Lots of dogs around, many off leads. If yours is a bit cautious you can go to one of the other numerous smaller grass areas connected via paths in good condition.Lots of blackberry bushes around if you want to make a nice crumble to finish off a wonderful day.
