In an extremely tough emergency situation, the whole staff of the London Animal Hospital was compassionate, professional, and so kind. Will sat with us to answer our questions, and everyone we spoke with was equally well informed. Our cat ultimately passed away at the hospital, and I feel some peace knowing that he was well loved while he was there and given expert care.

The place has great reviews, so why did I get so unlucky?I took my cat there on Sunday as an emergency following the recommendation on the website of my regular vet, the treatment on the day was really good, the vet was friendly and caring. However, she did the blood test and we agreed that the results would be sent to my email and to my vet.I waited till Tuesday night and called my vet - they said they received nothing which was unusual as the results would normally be ready within a day. I tried calling TLAC, no one would pick up.I waited for another 24 hours, called again, again no one picked up.I arrived in person - and the receptionist effectively brushed me off.She said “the results are generally fine but the doctor would like to talk to you, she’ll give you a call”. First, this is worrying as hell, second, this was not the agreement. When I pointed out that we’d agreed the results would be sent to my regular vet and we’d take it from there, I was told “we will do it when we have time. We have plenty of clients”.Sorry, do what, send one email? How long does it take, 30 seconds? Or several days?Ironically, since Sunday, I’ve received several promotional emails - apparently there’s time for that - but none with what we agreed upon.I am sure it’s a matter of shortage of staff and I wouldn’t want my review to reflect badly on the vets, they’re great. but seriously, it’s not okay, I’m worried sick.

It happened so, that our booking was made incorrect by staff, and we waited there for 1.5 hours before being invited by the doctor. We did what needed, but attention to details is important

Turned up for the 5pm appointment. Was told we had to pay. (Was informed over the phone it was free) sent the blatantly dying puppy away.He died, at the Blue Cross 12 hours later.

Our dog had a major fit at 3.30am in the morning called this place and was asked to bring her in when we got her there she was not in a good way after a short time we was told our dog had not made it and sadly passed away ......... the staff were really understanding and compassionate with us.With the covid pandemic it took us a while to get money together for our dogs ashes and urn as we was furloughed they kept the ashes and didn't even bother us with phone calls or letters like most vets do

All the staff at the London animal hospital are wonderful and very caring. Unfortunately we had to have our kitten to put to sleep, and they went above and beyond ensuring we knew the risks of trying to treat him and what we could expect. They allowed me to take my time and say goodbye properly, and I know for a fact he was given so much love by everyone there when he had to go.The vets and the veterinary nurses I have seen are an absolute credit to this place. They checked in with us frequently afterwards, which was a lovely touch. They treated the situation with care and respect and I will always always use this veterinary practice. They have also been brilliant with our other cat, and the fact they remember both yours and your pets name when you have to visit makes you feel incredibly welcome.I love that they are open 24/7, and having made a late night trip, the level of care is always to the highest standard. Thanks again, you guys are amazing!

My cat was poorly and was transferred here for respite care after an operation elsewhere. Staff were friendly, updated us twice a day til he came home. Yes it's expensive and you do what you have to do to get your cat well again.

Kind, caring and helpful! My 3 months old kitten got sick and was hospitalised for 3 days. These guys are the best - from the receptionist to the vet. They have special rooms for you to hang out with your pet, and don’t make you feel like you’re asking to many questions (even when I called several times a day to check on my kitten). I can’t thank them enough

I already thought they were great during check ups for our kitten Link but he recently ate some Lily flower and had to spend seven days in the hospital and everybody was absolutely incredible. They were available 24 hours a day, kept me clearly updated, answered all my questions and let me visit whenever I wanted. They worked all through Xmas and were amazing. Not only did they give Link perfect care and love, they saved his life! Thank you to everyone x

Our 1.5 years old female British Blue female seemed to have a UTI (on a Saturday at 8-9pm) so we called the London Animal Hospital and they said that while non life threatening she must have been in pain and they could see her soon. The vet and the nurse on call were both super kind and would explain everything in details to us.You can tell that they love animals and are super competent. I couldn’t recommend more this place to look well after your pets
