Replay Swansea(former Celly’s)

Had an awful cut today... asked for a side fringe and she cut a box fringe then told me she could fix it and I've ended up with whatever mess this is... my fringe is like my safety blanket and now I hate my hair!! Needed this hair cut to make me feel better about myself not end up wanting to hide at home for weeks!! :(

This is the 3rdt time I've been to this salon but sadly the last.As soon as I sat in the chair, I could sense the lack of experience from the lady who was cutting my hair, I had to stop her from finishing what I was booked in for.Very disappointed. My fringe. Is uneven and my hair is worse than when I went in.

Regular customer here. Great value for money. And always try to squeeze me in last minutes booking which im very grateful for. Excelled on Customer service! Thank youWent again today absolutely fantastic I would highly recommend Rex cutting hair. It’s the best hair cut I have had in 7 years since moving to Swansea. Colour brilliant thank you Mona! U have been fantastic with customer care n hair and the other young lad uff my head felt good when he was washing it.

First time here today. I had Raz wash, cut and blow dry my hair. He was amazing!!! Really can’t fault him, I had an RBF whilst being hungover and he paused to see if everything was okay - little check ups like this are amazing. Staff were super friendly and the environment was lovely, deffo not my last time here! highly recommend.EDIT - I have straightened my hair and the transition in the front to back of my hair isn't there :( The way my hair was blow dried came out so nice, but I think because it wasn't straight we didn't see how edged the hair is. I don't think I'll be going back... :(

Staff were lovely. However the male owner is arrogant and extremely rude. He needs to sort out his attitude. Feel sorry for his wife

I went here yesterday for a quick trim. The staff were very friendly and the lady that did my hair was lovely too. The price was very good and affordable for the service given. My hair was cut very nicely. Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming here again! :)

I had my haircut earlier today and booked in for a trim. When I got there I was told they couldn’t cut my hair unless I had my hair washed, cut and blow dry. I assume the woman who came over to tell me this was a manager as someone else cut my hair. I was the only person in shop at the time with the three employees. The whole experience made me feel really intimidated so I agreed. Although I’ve been going to that hairdressers for 3 years, I’ve never been told they have to wash my hair before. I booked a £19 but after being told they would cut my hair unless I got it washed I’m now £36 down.The man who cut my hair was really nice and you could tell he really wanted to do a good job. Although this isn’t the hair cut I wanted and is cut wonky. I think this is down to the fact that he didn’t position my head or even ask how I usually have my parting.I wish I’d read the reviews before because clearly I’m not the only person who’s experienced this. Also annoying that I’m going to have to go to another hair dresser to fix my hair and find somewhere new to go.

I asked on-spec whether a walk-in was possible and the lady on the desk agreed since she had a bit of time before the next booked appointment. My hair was a disaster zone, scraped back into a pony tail, not cut since before the pandemic and starting to thin due to age. I had no clue what I wanted/needed so threw myself on the mercy of the stylist. I did ask for something that would not be dependent on proper blow-drying since I have never mastered the technique properly.I was given a bob to just above collar length. My qualms about the initial longer bits at the front were respected and their length was shortened to my satisfaction. Inevitably, I got caught in drizzle walking back home, however, unlike some experiences in the past with carefully blown-dry styles being destroyed by rain, my haircut has bounced back with only a few waves replacing previous smoothness, but it handles them with no problem. For the last couple of years I have tried to avoid seeing myself in mirrors because my hair made me feel so ashamed. Tonight I have been rushing to the mirror for sneak looks all evening. I am over the moon, feel more self-confident that I have felt for so very long. All this gain for a truly reasonable price. The only downside was the cash-only policy since I usually only ever pay for things by card, but luckily I had a few notes tucked into my phone case so was able to avoid embarrassment. I will definitely be back!
