Worse place to take your car! Has Tyres in the name but left all but one bolts loose after a service and told us its just one of those things.

Wonderful service from Builth Tyres. Had a slow puncture as a screw in the tyre. On holiday and they were able to do a repair at such short notice. Staff were friendly.Recommend to everyone.

Cannot in good faith recommend them.Following a service they failed to reattach my wheels.Of 16 wheel nuts I had 1 fully done up and only 2 others done up so they weren't loose.The car drove less than 15 miles after the service before the nuts could basically be undone by hand on the roadside.When I went back to the garage they offer no apology at all, and whilst they did offer to look over the car, I feel work they've already done shows the quality of their work.I wanted an apology and a acknowledgement of the the gross mistake.What I received was dismissal and a comment of how it happens all the time.I'm sorry what!I have never had such a bad experience and such a lack of accountability.

I used this place regularly to get my tires fitted until today where I had to wait 1 hour 45 in the rain for four tires to be changed, and then when I came to pay, they charged me twice the price of the last time I came to have my tires changed in September, 6 months ago. £80 to change 4 tires is an absolute rip off, never in my life have I paid close to that. And as a regular customer for the past three years bringing three cars to them for mots, mechanical work and tires, I’ll be finding somewhere new now.

Called in yesterday whilst on holiday as we thought the exhaust was blowing a little. They were very busy but found time to check and sealed the damage found so we could continue our holiday and arrange for a new exhaust on return home as we are over 200 miles away. Angie and Scott were very helpful, we would have liked to have a full repair done but because of distance etc. the guarantee would be invalid. A very reasonable charge was taken for the repair work done. I would highly recommend this garage and would definitely use it if we were local.

I was unfortunate enough to have car trouble on a journey from Aberystwyth to Taunton as I passed through Builth Wells and ended up with a grinding unsettling noise.I rocked up at this place in a panic (at 11am on a Saturday!) and the man here managed to help me despite the fact he was obviously very busy, he made time to lift my car and found a simple fault that he could fix on the spot, he then took my car out briefly to ensure the problem would remain resolved for my journey.All this and he wanted no payment in return.I know mechanically you may feel not much was done, but to me it's meant an awful lot today. You don't meet people who take time to help strangers so often.

I moved to Builth just over a year ago - along with my old Land Rover Discovery. Like me, she is now of an age when she definitely needs some real TLC, and finding suitable garages is like looking for a good first school! When I arrived in Builth, a good friend of mine told me to make sure that when the Disco needed service or repairs, that Builth Wells Tyres would do a first-class job. I've been there three times in the past year for either minor repairs, MOT preparation , and also for upgrading the rear brake system. Service is brilliant - From Angie in reception and her very personable and helpful manner, to the guys in the workshop, who work efficiently and effectively, and respect other people's property too. Having kept Land Rovers for the past several decades, I have been fortunate in finding first-class garages to service and repair them - and always without paying fancy dealership add-on costs" to pay for their reception areas!! I can heartily recommend Builth Wells Tyres for the standard of workmanship
