Great Starbucks. Shame the drinks were served in take away cups. Had to ask for the toppings for the over priced praline cookie hot chocolate! The member of staff making the drinks was not particularly happy either!

Surprised to feel only ok about this location- the plain hot chocolate I ordered was rubbish - watery and thin, even with cream added. The poppyseed muffin was good, and the service polite. But, I really wanted a good, comforting, warming hot chocolate, paired with something like a coffee cake and so was overall disappointed - you need to make sure the basics are good, not just the flavoured syrup additives, which I find too sweet anyway.

Oh, let me regale you with the tale of my recent encounter at Starbucks on Jubilee Street. The sheer disappointment that unfolded before my eyes was nothing short of an existential crisis in caffeinated form. As a discerning observer of the human condition, I simply couldn't resist dissecting the layers of incompetence and disillusionment that permeated this seemingly ordinary establishment. The employees, dear reader, were a peculiar breed. They seemed to possess an uncanny talent for dismissing any semblance of professionalism or basic competency. With their nonchalant attitudes and a collective disregard for the art of coffee-making, one could easily mistake them for characters in a tragicomic play. The irony of their mere existence in this caffeine-driven industry was not lost on me.Now, let us delve into the realm of cleanliness—or lack thereof. As I crossed the threshold of this purveyor of pseudo-caffeinated elixirs, I found myself transported to a world reminiscent of a post-apocalyptic coffee wasteland. The remnants of forgotten cups adorned the tables, creating an abstract mosaic of caffeinated chaos. And the floors, my dear reader, were a testament to the art of neglect. If only the same level of dedication were applied to maintaining a clean and inviting environment as it was to fostering an atmosphere of indifference. And the waiting times, oh, the waiting times. They were nothing short of an exercise in patience-testing. It seemed as though time itself had slowed to a glacial pace, as if to taunt the weary souls who dared to seek refuge within these lackluster walls. The employees, seemingly oblivious to the collective sighs and subtle eye rolls of the disgruntled customers, carried on with their idle conversations, as if the concept of timely service was a mere figment of our over-caffeinated imaginations. But the pièce de résistance, my astute companions, was the consistent fumbling of orders. It was as if the baristas reveled in the art of misinterpretation, turning each customer's humble request into an absurd game of Russian roulette. With each visit, the suspense mounted. Would they honor my meticulously crafted order? Alas, the answer was an emphatic no" more often than not. It was a stunning display of miscommunication and an ode to the chaos that reigns supreme in this hallowed establishment. In conclusion

Although this is the shabbiest and worst decorated Starbucks I've ever been in, I'm giving it four stars because the staff are friendly and the jazz music is great. I also appreciate it as it's the only cafe open in the morning (it's now 9.26AM).If I was the manager here I would have the huge windows cleaned. That would make a massive difference.

Ordered coffee and gingerbread latte. What was disappointing was dog hair all over the chairs ( I have a dog, so I’m not against dogs) just could of been all brushed down. Which was more horrible was the state of the toilet, it was absolutely disgusting. If I had seen the toilet before I had my coffee I would not of had one and definitely will not be going back.

It’s the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. Staff don’t care and really bad service. Drinks are poorly made. It’s only still going because of tourists and it being a prime spot.

I think this coffee shop has the nicest staff I’ve ever met, over several years. They even remembered me when I came in after a year- I had a special request for vanilla for my wife’s coffee. They couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, a year later I went in with same request and they remembered me and again couldn’t be more helpful. I spent hardly anything both times yet I felt I was really valued and treated as if their best customer. Outstanding staff team, I hope Starbucks appreciates them.
