Warhammer

I walked into games workshop after a 15 year (Warhammer) hiatus and the feeling of excitement was just the same as it was all those years ago. I felt like a child again. The figures were laid out for all to see, the paints organised by colour and the magazines filled a shelf.The shop was perfect. There was an awesome buzz about the place and Adam was incredibly helpful.I cannot wait to go back.

Have to say as a middle aged lady, the world of Warhammer was not quite my scene, but I went it as my 12 year old son started to get in to it. Adam runs the shop singlehanded and his multitasking abilities are amazing. His enthusiasm for the hobby is contagious and I admire his knowledge and patience, especially with the “nubes” like us!I have really got into the painting side (when my son allows me to paint a figure!) and the sense of community and friendliness of everyone who plays is remarkable.As mentioned by others, this is not a cheap hobby, but the figures are all made here in Nottingham and are of outstanding quality and the quality of the paints, textures and technical paints is really good. Fantastic for getting the kids off their screens and doing something creative.Adam also helped us to get a Warhammer Club started at my son’s school which he is absolutely thrilled about.Great shop, highly recommend venturing in - you’re sure to not leave empty handed!

Great selection of stock, fair prices and the staff know their products. All that is needed is a larger store.

Lovely, friendly staff, very helpful!Not exactly cheap, and there was a bit of a wait to get to speak to someone as they were busy talking to other customers

Adam in the shop is incredibly helpful and nice. His knowledge of warhammer is extensive, and is more than happy to help and advise on anything from gameplay to purchases

Great place to shop and learn a new hobby as a returning painter, the store and especially the manager Adam are very welcoming. Adam even got my wife excited about a new range to the point she’s now painting and looking at gaming.If it was not for his relaxed attitude and great vibe in store neither of us would of become part of the hobby.If the items not kept in store a very efficient mail order service is available in store with a smart display available.

Fantastic staff, helpful, informative, and interesting to listen to. It'll become a tradition for me and my son to visit on Saturdays and take a look and play some good ol warhammer :D

Really friendly place which is more of a community than just a shop. The manager is very knowledgeable and friendly and knows a lot of his customers by name. My son loves going there, and even though I'm not really into Warhammer myself, it's always a positive experience.

Friendly, busy, limited selection but it's a small store so that's understood - they can always order models in if you want.
