Good food. The servings were beyond huge..Almost impossible to finishBut good foodI had a great haggish for starters and then the biggest fried fish i have ever seen for main menu.Recommend,but only take 2 servings if you are super hungry

Good food, a bit more upmarket than standard pub fare. The menu is limited, but all the choices look good. Highly recommend you book for an evening meal!They will do takeaways, but only if the restaurant isn't too busy.

This was the food highlight of our vacation in Scotland. The food was literally perfect. Service was friendly and excellent. I really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the food at this restaurant. The quality fell below my expectations, and the taste left much to be desired. It's disappointing as I had hoped for a more satisfying dining experience. I believe there's room for improvement in the overall food quality.

Called in without a booking, and although there was a sign up stating fully booked one of waitresses (owners?) - Alison who popped her head out and said although they were fully booked they could fit us in right then. Fantastic. As soon as they saw our small scruffy dog they couldn't do enough to help us and him (water and biscuits waiting for him). We ordered our food and it promptly arrived, freshly cooked and piping hot. Sharon (owner) came over and checj all 3 of us were ok. Lindsey brought over the drinks with a warm smile (even with a mask). Would certainly recommend this restaurant. The attitude of the staff was warm and welcoming, and the food delicious. Thank you for looking after us.

The Old Station has a vintage atmosphere of an old railway station. It is absolutely worth a visit and stay for dinner. Some few products are not self-made but industry pruducts. You taste the difference cause the own products are very good.

Absolutely superb! A beautiful place, with views of the train line. We were seated quickly at a beautifully set table, and our order was taken soon after. The food was delicious and was served quickly after ordering. I had the 6oz Beef Burger and the Salted Caramel Rocky Road Brownie, both were divine! Our waitress Lucielle was lovely and so friendly, and the service was exceptional! One of the nicest restaurants I have ever been to, fantastic experience!

Service was top notch, 5 stars- really friendly, cheerful & absolutely great chat. We spoke over hyper mobility as my partner had just sprained his ankle, & she even brought us a bag of ice!The drinks were also quite good, 5 stars - the french martini execution surprised me (they had Chambord! Nice!) & The bartender was also super friendly.The food, however, could use some TLC. The fries weren't fully cooked, the garlic cheese bread had loads of garlic (YUM!) But the cheese wasn't fully melted, & the buttermilk chicken tasted a bit like it was fried in refried oil. The steak was asked to be medium, & looked a bit more well-done.The menu looked decent, but the execution didn't match the quality of service & the lovely decor & ambience that the pub had (all modern fittings nicely done).

Dropped in on our tour around Scotland, very welcoming and amazing food. Burger was great and the steak pie was amazing! Cooked perfectly
