Three Lochs Forest Drive
I highly recommend this drive. It will take longer than you think, because it's such a beautiful place. Stop and get out at the campgrounds and look out points and explorer. Do a walk or a hike. It's a wonderful place.

Three Lochs Forest Drive
We stayed at permit area F, there is areas for camping and pulling bays for camper vans. Easy access to the water ideal for water sports (canoe paddle board etc). Protect against ticks as my dogs did get a couple but to be expected. Our stay was August for 2 nights. Toilets are about a 10 minute drive from area F, it is supposed to be a 1 way system but some people were driving back and forth. The road itself is more of a off track gravel road. We ordered our permits online quick and easy to do and we had great Internet/ phone reception throughout the forest. There was some rubbish left from previous occupants as there are no bins within the forest. We were greeted by a warden as we were setting up who also gave us a code if we needed to leave as the gates are locked around 4/5 pm and reopened around 9am

Slight wait to get in to the drive, once paid (card cash or Ringo) plenty options to stop for a walk and get some fresh air. Fantastic views, options to camp overnight with the correct permits. Also toilet stops on the path. Great farm shop with ice cream available.

Three Lochs Forest Drive
A great accessible day out! We spent a few hours driving through here. For someone with limited mobility it was a perfect opportunity to see some Lochs and feel immersed in the landscape. It is also free to enter with a disabled badge. We did the short walk around Loch Drunkie which took us about an hour at a slow pace (about a mile). The ground was a little uneven and there were some hills but overall an accessible path for me.You can do as much or as little as you like, you don’t need to leave the car to see some amazing views. We did go on a Sunday and had to queue for maybe 15 minutes to get in, but it didn’t seem busy once we were on the drive so don’t let the queue out you off.

The Three Lochs Forest Drive is a scenic route located near Aberfoyle, Scotland. It is a beautiful drive that takes you through the heart of the Trossachs National Park, offering stunning views of three lochs: Lochan Reòidhte, Loch Drunkie, and Loch Achray.Starting from Aberfoyle, you can access the forest drive by following the signs. The route is approximately 7 miles long and can be driven in about an hour, although you may want to allow more time to fully enjoy the picturesque surroundings.Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop at various viewpoints and picnic areas to soak in the natural beauty of the area. There are also several walking trails that branch off from the drive, allowing you to explore the forest on foot. Please note that the Three Lochs Forest Drive is managed by Forest and Land Scotland, and there may be certain restrictions or closures in place depending on the season or weather conditions. It's always a good idea to check for any updates or closures before planning your visit.Overall, the Three Lochs Forest Drive is a fantastic way to experience the stunning landscapes of the Trossachs National Park. Enjoy your drive and take your time to appreciate the beauty of the lochs and the surrounding forest!

Three Lochs Forest Drive
Great place to take loads of pictures, so make sure to bring your phone! It was a nice drive, get to see 3 lochs (obviously). But the road is made out of rocks and gravel, so the vehicle may get rocks stuck in it. 5 stars, would give a higher rating if I could.
