Initially the company was quite helpful and ended up designing some lovely gates however the lead time for installation was over a month late, a six day install took nearer 3 weeks. I had to call them out afterwards to still finish the job off. They are good at gate design but useless at the automation. My gates are agonisingly slow and after initially adjusting them they were just about bearable but now they are really slow again. They fail to respond to email requests for an engineer maintenance visit. I would go elsewhere if looking again as now I am faced with chasing this company to get something that works adequately which shouldn't happen on a £15K ish installation and we didn't exactly go cheap hoping we would avoid such a situation.

We hired them to upgrade an electric vehicle gate which they themselves had installed 15 years ago. Unfortunately they messed us about, with missed deadlines, wrong components, incorrect configurations. Their communication and customer service is woeful. The contractors who came to do the work were generally helpful and thorough but we have subsequently had to hire another firm to fix some of the mistakes left by Hill Trident. I emailed them a while back to point out a glaring error with our security gate but - as usual - no one got back to me. I would advise against using them.

I was well pleased that I placed my order with Hill Trident, fast competitive quote, proper drawing which was good as I changed a detail at the last minute. Ok took a bit longer to manufacture than initially stated but they kept me fully in the loop and delivered my railings bang on the stated date and well packed to avoid in transit damage, Oh and by the way, all nice guys to deal with so thanks everyone.
