I've really enjoyed getting back into art as I haven't done any for years.It's really good to find someone who has confidence in what you can produce. Alison and her team are welcoming and make the sessions enjoyable. They are supportive and very good at persuading you to take your art to the next step.

My Son is 4 years old and he's loved the sessions with Alison. They are fun and creative, Alison gives children space to explore, she is great at listening and observing what do they like.

I've been to two Groove Is In The Art nights now and both nights were amazing. You don't need to be a skilled artist to take home something you're proud of as you get given lots of advice and help when needed. The music is always great and all of the supplies you could need are provided. I would definitely recommend their classes and there's something for everyone!

I have attended two of the Groove is in the Arts and had an amazing time on both occasions! I produced a piece of art that is now hung on my wall after turning up thinking I would be rubbish. Alison and her Art Avengers gave me the skills and confidence to push myself, whilst having a drink and a dance! Fab events - would recommend to anyone

I had a great time learning a totally new art medium. Time passed very quickly and I was completely engrossed. The instructor was knowledgeable and the lesson was well structured. I can thoroughly recommend it.

We went to Arting's oil pastel fruit workshop at Goole Junction and had a great time. Alison got everyone involved in trying different techniques with the pastels before we put together what we'd learned to create a still life. Lots of support and laughs, ideal for beginners but if you're already quite arty you'd still get a lot out of it. I hope Arting will be back in Goole in the autumn, I'd love to try their other classes. Definitely recommend their workshops!

I was supposed to go with a friend to Groove is the Art, for a lesson of painting and wine but she couldn’t make it, so I went on my own. I had a wonderful time! The instructions where clear, easy to follow, with plenty of time to finish. All materials given. I stayed after to have a drink, and even danced! It was a really fun and alternative night out.

Alison has been delivering Art classes to our Armed Forces Community for the last 6 months. The group has grown every month and the feedback from our veterans has been amazing. Thanks you Alison and Arting for your support

We loved the opportunity for three generations to work together to create something special under the expert guidance of Alison! We would highly recommend these sessions to young and old. I am not arty at all but I found the sessions so engaging and relaxing the time flew by.
