DPD Depot

Update: Another failed collection today - 35 parcels that our trade customers are expecting for delivery tomorrow.Original review:We are a online wholesaler/retailer and recently switched to using DPDDisgraceful collection service here in Barrow.Didn’t even turn up yesterday, but customer services told us a pack of lies instead.Today turned up at 6.20pm, but in the literally 15 seconds it took for me to RUN downstairs, he’d already jumped in the van & driven off!Unbelievable.

Had a problem with a parcel that should have been delivered by my local Depot. I called their number, but the call was routed to this Depot and I ended up speaking to a young lady named Jess. Despite the call relating to a parcel from another Depot, Jess went above and beyond, investigated it as best she could, clearly explained what had likely occurred and offered to send an email to my local Depot on my behalf in an attempt to rectify the situation. Jess, your customer service is one in a million. Thank you.

The driver regularly misses our house as it’s up a dirt track. You can’t contact the depot or the driver to collect or give them directions.It’s happened too many times. Worst service and customer service EVER.Avoid

Good at driving straight past without ever attempting to deliver. Absolute worst.

Poor service all round how they can justify a charge is beyond believe .Three times dpd driver said he’s been to my property. Three time cctv show he’s never been. He must be running out of tick boxes for why he’s not picked the item up. The emailed reference number isn't recognised when trying to customer service so it ends the call. When you finally get through they can’t do anything.

Terrible service, waited two days for a delivery then told it was being returned to sender! WHY? Also no delivery service after 3.00pm lately just get a message saying sorry we missed you. Twice had empty cardboard boxes delivered, when I went to the depot the staff was unhelpful and surely. Used to be a great but now the most unreliable.

Appalling service. First tracking shows delivery today, then it shows your parcel being returned to DPD. I go to the depot, a member of staff tells me that they have unilaterally, without consulting me, decided to return a damaged parcel to the sender (the sender is in China!!). I ask him if they can retrieve this parcel and deliver it. ague waffle which amounts to Oh that's too difficult." The other seven parcels are in the warehouse

ABSOLUTE LIARS two failed deliveries in a week with driver Matthew. Strung along all day. First time dog food told would arrive then too late to get to shops as delivery cancelled until 2 days later. Same with flowers for a birthday needed for today strung along all day yesterday then cancelled . Two days late will miss birthday. Cheers DPD you are disgusting and disrespectful to customers

Absolute rubbish... Drivers said they tried to deliver but never did. The delivery address is a hotel and the excuse they have was no one was available to sign for it, I was at work all day and no delivery was attempted. After reading the reviews I'm not surprised. I have made a complaint which has now been escalated to a higher department so hopefully these drivers will be dealt with in the appropriate way

Avoid at all costs had 2 deliveries one need pin code and one didn't the driver arrive dpd had not given me a pin, he took the incorrect parcel leaving the one which required pin at the address, came back later that day to give the original parcel, then would give the parcel with out pin. I had all proof that it was for me, the driver them came in to the property uninvited and took the parcel back from with in to the address I have been lied to by the local depot about the pin saying they don't give me the pin when in fact if you track your parcel it appears on the THIER website this arrived after the driver left, when o call the complaints department I was told what do you want me to do and it's out of their hands. Avoid at all costs because they do not care if the drives enter the property and take things.
