4 Crown Hill - Luxury sea view holiday apartment in Grange over Sands

The flat was excellently positioned in the town of grange. Only a few minutes walk from the local shops, a selection of cafes and the promenade.The flat its self was light, clean and very well equipped. Excellent power shower and modern bathroom. Comfortable bed and spacious living/bedroom space. I particularly enjoyed having a cup of tea with the view over the sands, in the sunshine. It felt very homely, with a range of artwork, plants and furniture. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and was organised in a logical way.Parking was easy, and meant that driving to local places like Windermere and Cartmel was simple. I would highly recommend exploring Grange, a chance to escape from the very touristy areas, while having fantastic access to the rest of the lakes and surrounding walks.I will absolutely be returning.

Super weekend break in an ideal location for exploring the Lake District. The apartment is very homely, clean and tidy, with lovely views. There is a great chippy and pub nearby. I will definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends.

A lovely peaceful apartment in Grange over Sands with views over Morecambe bay. It has all the ammenities you need for a relaxing holiday. Tastefully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a great shower. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Crown Hill - the flat has everything you need and is so spacious and relaxing, with the incredible views from both the lounge and bedroom. Waking up to the sunrise in the morning was our highlight of the stay!

Beautiful apartment. Well equipped. Great position. A pleasure to return to after a day exploring or just stay, relax and take in the stunning views. Walking distance to promenade, train, shops, cafés and restaurants.Grange is an absolutely charming and delightful place. The people are extremely friendly especially Andy our host, he gave us plenty of hints and tips to make the holiday a success. We felt welcome. It was difficult to leave.

Fabulous place to stay, cosy, very well equipped and perfectly located for the local area and the wider Lakes. The views across the Bay provide a constantly changing picture both of scenery and skies, with the added interest of the birdlife.Grange is restful and relaxing, a walk along the Prom a must. Treat yourself to a coffee and delicious cake at Barista Brothers or traditional fish and chips at “Fish over Chips”. Thank you

We stayed here in February when it was fairly cold outside. The flat feels like a real home from home, warm and cosy with good heating.This ground floor flat is very spacious for two, nicely decorated and well furnished.The location is perfect for all of the amenities Grange has to offer and comes with its own parking space.The station is conveniently nearby with excellent connections.The views from the bedroom and sitting room are stunning - constantly changing with the weather and tides. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Crown Hill for 3 nights Fri – Mon. The apartment is situated in a building which was formerly part of the Crown Hill Hotel many years ago. It sits at the top of the Main Street and has superb views from the lounge and bedroom windows over the estuary towards the sea. The apartment was very clean and tidy and was beautifully furnished with classic furniture which included some very interesting pieces such as a leather top desk with old fashioned bakelite telephone, lovely reading lamps and wall prints and attractive leather sofa and chair. The kitchen is a decent size and well stocked and we chose to eat in on all 3 evenings preparing our own meals. One thing which was a real bonus was the TV which was large screen (super HD picture) and had several TV apps so we didn’t miss any soaps. We had only been to Grange a couple of times before for an afternoon so wasn’t really sure what it would be like to stay for 3 nights but we could happily have stayed a whole week. We fitted in Seizer Castle, Furness Abbey, Holker Hall and a visit to Cartmel and Rampside where unfortunately the ferry to Piel Island and Castle had just closed for the season. Crown Hill is situated very close to good shops and restaurants and Higginson’s butchers is just 30 yards away which sells fantastic pies. Owners Andy and Katrina sent us plenty of information about local walks and attractions in the area and we look forward to returning again for a bit longer in the near future.
