Durham Hearing Specialists

I wish I could give more stars. I have been twice in the last 2-3 weeks with my 3 year old who we believe has a significant speech delay and wanted to double check his hearing too. I have seen both Connor and Lily who are both very professional, very pleasant, very kind, very caring, very thorough, very knowledgeable and they are both fantastic with children. Lily and Connor are both very creative with how they tested my toddlers hearing (no easy task to get a 3 year old to sit still!) and managed to get a result for me. My little boy was so excited to come back and see Lily and Connor today that tells you how nice they are to your children. They have both really helped ease a mothers worries and concerns and made what is normally an ordeal into a really pleasant experience for both me and my little boy. I will definitely be having the rest of the families hearing checked here too in the near future. Fantastic service and fantastic individuals, I would not go anywhere else. Barnard Castle branch.

Fantastic practice and very friendly. Helped me with my wax removal and fitting for swimming plugs, both reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone that needs their services.

After many trips to the doctors surgery over 5 weeks I stillhad ear pain. After about 10min Conor the audiologist at Barnard castle had removed all the wax (no pain) and identified a yeast infections and recommended drops.Great service.

Amazing service from start to finish!When contacting the service I initially spoke to Amanda via email who responded quickly and got me booked in at the clinic of my choosing.On the day of my appointment I was seen promptly, Lilley was very welcoming, explained everything and checked I was ok throughout the treatment.A great service, can’t fault!

I had a hearing test carried out by Conor today, I have had several hearing tests across the country in the past and Durham Hearing Specialists tests by comparison were very thorough, with good quality and well fitting equipment with no distracting background noises like I have experienced in the past elsewhere i.e. traffic, other people outside etc.I would certainly recommend Durham Hearing Specialists to others as well as go to them again myself in the future. Parking in the local area seems a bit competitive so I'd recommend early arrival.

I recently visited a well known company offering microsuction , after several weeks and three visits they gave up and gave the name and number of Durham Hearing Specialists.What a joy and relief to get my hearing back ,on the first visit a young lady did a lot of exploritiy work with instructions and then booked me in for a second session with her colleague .On the second session they both worked for two hours, professionally and courteously and restored my hearing. I can not praise this company highly enough and would recommend them whole heartedly.

Excellent service, very professional and thorough. My hearing is much improved and my ear feels much better.The surgery is centrally located in Barnard Castle with no problems regarding parking or access even for the less mobile.

Another 5 star review for an exceptional service. Right from first contact, the receptionist (Emily?) was most welcoming and friendly. Conor was calm and professional. He explained clearly what he would do, and how it might feel. He updated me with progress during the procedure, and told me the likely prognosis. His fee was very reasonable, and I did not begrudge a penny of it for such outstanding service. It was well worth the long drive from Durham. I hope I don't need their services again, but if I do, I certainly won't hesitate to return.

Excellent service. I travelled a far distance to see Conor and the team and they looked after me really well even though i was really nervous about the procedure. After a bad past experience with micro suction conor and the team were really gentle and took time talking me through each stage of the procedure. These are guys are the best!
