I pop in once a fortnight for £3 worth of Liquorice Tablets for my mother. Friendly staff. Some of the staff have become so used to me that they reach for the Liquorice Tablets before I’ve even said what I want. Often on a Friday afternoon it can get very busy with the people coming and going from the market. It’s well worth a pop in. A real sweet shop just like they should be.

Decent selection of sweets. But all the little sweets wrapped in paper were old and literally sticking to their packaging. Others tasted like they were sitting there for years. Not good. Also the woman behind the counter was very unfriendly. Never again.

Absolutely lovely shop and the assistant was fantastic, so personable, so helpful and even let me try something as the product had changed. The prices are spot on, so much more reasonable than other sweet shops I have been to. I definitely recommend this place. I tried not to buy as they didn't have kop kops but I just couldn't resist!!
