Redbridge Cycling Centre

This is a nice place to take friends and family if you want to add some variety to your weekends. It's also a great place if you have kids who want to learn bike riding in a safe environment.I hired 4 bikes that come with a helmet. Adults pay £14.50 per bike and for children, it's £12.50. The prices are cheaper if you bring your bike. We had to wait for about 30 minutes at the counter before we were served as it was busy and there were only 2 staff dealing with customers. The staff were super friendly.There is no time cap, so you can continue riding until they close, which is at 5 p.m. They have a road track (no vehicles) and a dirt track for those who want a more challenging track.I enjoyed the day overall and just hoped that there were more tracks available. After about 10 minutes of riding, you've done the entire road track and you end up just repeating it.It was a fun day and I'll add this place to my list of places that we can visit if the weather is good.As an FYI - you can also privately hire this place if you have a group event and then you have the place all to yourself.

Great road circuit. I didn't try the mountain/cross course but I hear it's very good. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, good facilities, including cafe, changing rooms, bike repair and hire. A great centre for cycle fans be with incredible views of London.

Not easily accessible by bike due to the high speed limit of the roads around it and no cycleways leading to it. People drive here to cycle because the roads have too many cars, it's depressing.

Lovely clean track to cycle on. A nice way to spend time being active. It’s also a great place to learn how to ride a bike. My daughter (aged 6) had a riding lesson with May and she had her cycling by herself in 2 lessons. May is absolutely fantastic, she’s very patient and encouraging. My daughter had a lot of fun and we also enjoyed ourselves on the track while she was having her lesson. Would definitely recommend this place!

Came on a quiet Friday morning with the boys (12+15). Great 2km road circuit and varied levels of difficulty off road circuit which they loved. We hired bikes - good value and we'll serviced. Good changing facilities. Definitely recommend. If you bring your own bikes it is v cheap to enter to use the circuits.

The reviews about Sylv being brilliant at teaching young children to ride bikes are true. My 7 years old granddaughter has always been too nervous to attempt riding. We took her for a lesson today and Sylv's kind and methodical approach had her riding a bike within half an hour for the first time in her life.

Extremely friendly people & mesmerising nature all around. Went there for emergency need for cycle & their stuff allowed to use their service centre as per my need.

The women’s cycling session is brilliant! Would be even better if it was possible to stop any males also using the track at the same time. But occasionally there are 1 or 2 men doing their own cycling whilst the women’s group is on the cycling path. The bikes and paths are really good and the trainers are really helpful and knowledgeable. Paths are lovely and scenic.

Went with our family members of four adults and four children. Hired two bikes £14 per bike and £50 refundable deposit (for two hours hire) this was including helmet hire also. The gentleman who served us was very informative and helpful. The tracks were well maintained and a very nice few hours spent there. Couldn't work out if £14 per bike was a little expensive, I think it is better to bring your own bike and pay £4 instead. Lots of parking available

Went there for first time, wasn't too busy so asked man name of Ian if he could adjust my brakes, he first said was busy as there was lots of bikes but luckily he saw my bike and fixed it there and then. Very good people all staff as I spoke to both staff. Highly recommended place. Will go there for track use. Very nice view from the top.
