Absolutely disgusting people zero phone manners unable to get an appointment since January 2022, every time you ring its always the same line phone back at 8 30 am when you call your 30 or 40 in the que after sitting on the phone for an hour or so some one finally answers your told no slots left call back tomorrow, wouldn't recommend them as a vet for animals never mind the care of people, total disregard for for your care, huffing an puffing when you call them it your job for christ sake, not one of the receptionists has a shred of decency or the motivation to help you out, I will be doing everything I can to move from the practice

Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs! Mary from reception was the cheekiest, rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to, getting progressively worse every time we spoke. Was told I didn't have evidence that I have the disorder I have after handing them a prescription and all of the medical paperwork that goes with it. Was told I need to wait over A MONTH to speak to a doctor to get medication I need TWICE PER DAY or my mental health is severely affected. Was told that if I could get the diagnosis paperwork that they could fill the prescription, got said paperwork only to be told not only could they not fill the prescription but that my appointment had moved from the middle of March to the end of April. This practice does not care about you or your physical/mental health and the receptionists you deal with are utterly horrendous. One star is too high of a rating for these cold, uncompassionate people.

Shocking inhumane Reception! Patrice was rude, ignorant with zero compassion. For a person who goes to the doctor maybe once every NEVER years it was horrible to receive such cold, uncaring reception. I understand they may be under pressure but working for NHS no matter how busy you are you have to treat each and every individual with the same respect and hear all their symptoms out before making a rash judgement of wether its urgent or not as it could be detrimental to their wellbeing. I for one wasn't looking to be seen immediately, I merely called to make an appointment with the doctor as have been suffering with 3 ailments that have lasted for over 6 weeks that don't seem to be budging anywhere but only progressing ...However to cut a long story short Patrice did not even give me the opportunity to advise her of the above as she kindly" brushed me off within the first minute of the call trying to rush me off without hearing me out instead advising I should call back tomorrow if I want to be seen otherwise wait over a month to be seen. Well maybe I wouldn't mind waiting a month to be seen...seemingly Patrice didn't even really want to give me that option. Attitude stinks and Im sure Patrice would not be happy with a receptionist giving her child/sibling/parent the same reception that she had given me! At the end of the day we are all the same and a bit of human kindness and compassion will go a long way just as good customer service does...So I personally don't think that people such as Patrice belong in the role that they are in... perhaps somewhere filing papers without having to interact with people would be better suited."

An amazing place run by amazing people... The staff at FFP have saved my life on more than one occasion. Although it's difficult to get an appointment (as is everywhere), they will always make time for you in an emergency.Today I witnessed all the doctors, nurses, receptionists and HCA's working round the clock to administer flu vacs to the vulnerable while all kitted out in PPE during covid19 and they were efficient, caring, and even managed to make me smile and laugh while I was there.I've known the staff for about 15 years now and appreciate their professionalism and kindness.Special mention to Fiona, Marie, Gillian, Dr. Orr, and Dr. Thompson, thank you all so much.-Gav.

Appointments are very hard to get unless for an emergency appointment. Some staff could be nicer. On the upside some of the doctors seem quite thorough

I have been in with these doctors since I was born the first Doctor was Doctor Sidebottom and before him was his father who opened his the practice around 100 years ago and then it was my grandparents who were in with the practice at the time but nothing has changed from the receptionist to the medical staff they will care about you as a person not just your medical health but your mental health I know because I had the most amazing Doctor Dr Lesson you see I have had a lot of things gone wrong in my mental health as well as my physical health from I was a young man but I had one person in my corner and that was Dr Lesson and after my friend and confidant retired I was left with some one who didn't know me but was still there as not just a Doctor but someone who I could talk to you see I am not an easy person to open up to others but Dr Paula Burns was the most understanding of people that really cared and showed me compassion in when I needed it the most so if anyone does not understand the pressure of the health service now they come from the me first generation and at that I don't mean the age group but to be selfish it will never make a difference what age you are please have respect for the people who are there to help you, ❤️❤️❤️
