Dermatology | Our enthusiastic and diverse team at the Portsmouth Dermatology Centre, which is based at the St Mary's Health Community Campus, receive referrals for patients with a wide range of skin problems, such as long-term conditions like psoriasis and eczema, through to skin cancers. Treatments for these problems vary from prescription medicines to dressings, day treatments and specialised light therapies given within the department. Skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma may require surgical treatments. These range from small biopsies to large excisions, and we also carry out more complex Mohs micrographic surgery in some instances.
