Think the old boy needs to realise it’s a £10 par 3 course in rushden and not St Andrews, was clearly annoyed at the fact we hadn’t booked which is understandable if the place had anyone else there, we didn’t think would be an issue considering the course looked completely empty and there was only 1 other car in the car park, when trying to book we were told that this place isn’t for “hackers” and it’s a good par 3 implying that it was too good for us, at which point we decided we’d go elsewhere, considering there was nobody there you’d think they’d want people to use their course, real shame because it looked nice but ruined by the rude old boy, maybe if there was someone more welcoming and happy for people to use the facilities the place wouldn’t of been so empty

Easy 9 hole course closes early and opens late. Seems to be losing its identity as a golf course and moving towards hiring clubhouse to raise revenue as it membership is dwindling. The driving range is next door and is a completely separate company.

Family outing for Father's day. Excellent meal. Large choice of veg and all cooked beautifully. One small disapointment was the slow service. But that will not stop us going again.

Brought some visitors from NZ here on Mothering Sunday and was very impressed with service and friendly atmosphere. More than anything extremely impressed with carvery. Wonderful selection of veg , very tasty and tender meats. Everything was hot and full of flavour. Good choice of desserts too. Well done. We'll be back!

Great carvery! Came here for a birthday party, and couldn't fault a thing. Will be back again very soon!

Attended a wedding reception here recently, great three course meal cooked to perfection. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Clean and tidy venue with plenty of parking

Many thanks to Alan and his team.After looking at many wedding venues my son and daughter in law choseJohn Whites complete wedding package to celebrate their wedding day.What a great choice. The venue was dressed to perfection, even better than we had expected and better than other venues we had viewed. The three course meal and the evening buffet were excellent, all dietary needs catered for, with many compliments from the guests. The DJ could not have been better. We had a canopy outside and a bouncy castle for the children, all arranged for us by the venue. The views of the golf course just added to the day.After the wedding the table decorations, cake and personal items were all stored safely ready for us to collect the next day.We cannot thank Alan and his team enough for their help, support and professionalism, giving us and our 80 guests the perfect wedding celebration. This was not easy with Covid rules changing throughout the planning but Alan was always there for us and was always calm and reassuring.Our advice would be to not waste any time looking at any other venues for your wedding or other celebrations. This is a 5 star venue with a 5 star team.

Had our wedding here, really nice venue. Wedding package was perfect for us, the only thing that let it down was the guy running the place kept hassling us on our wedding day - things like your running late or you need to get your guests to sit down and eat!We had an evening buffet as part of the package - there was loads of food that the bar staff cleared up way to early, when I went to get something to eat it was in the process of being taken away! As we paid for this food we should of:A) Been asked if it was OK to start clearing it itB) Given the option of taking it away with usThat put us off quite a bit which is why I only give 4 stars.
