We have used Tool Box Electrical Services for a number of years and they are now our only choice for this work. The jobs ranged from replacing old light fittings . installing a modern double socket external power connector and, on January 5th '21, replacing our old fuse box with a new consumer unit and installing a modern earth connection for the house.We trust them to give a clear and accurate picture of what is needed and a fair indication of likely cost. The electricians have been fully qualified,punctual, polite and hard-working, . They have minimised any inevitable disruption and have tidied up afterwards. As in the case of the latest work, any necessary certification is quickly supplied My partner and I recommend them most highly.

This company are in the unfortunate position of being the straw that broke the camels back.Aside from the initial messages about the job, Dave had very poor communication and did not honour a price match (in fact he just ignored it).If you don't want to do a job just say, don't just ghost customers.I appreciate that tradespeople are busy but completely ignoring potential clients and then lying about price matching is terrible customer service.

I have used Tool Box Gas and Heating for 3 years now, they are very helpful and honest. I would recommend.

Excellent service by Jack. Very professional and know's exactly what he is doing. I did not know any plumbers in Bristol and was very apprehensive trying to find the right one. No need to worry with Jack, your in safe hands!

My Parents had Tool Box Complete a EICR and the associated works they found completed a few months back and we extremly pleased with the works , They recommend Tool Box to me and my partner as we had just bought a house and we have had a EICR completed too and we are extreme,y pleased with the service also.

Installed new kitchen lights and a new double socket amongst other things. Well priced and the workers were efficient, did a good job and left the house in a tidy state.

I had my 2 bed flat rewired. After 4 weeks (when it should have been 2-3) he abandoned the job. I have a temp earth, a bathroom light that is hideous and I certainly didn’t want and switches and sockets where it suited Dave. He also left his rubbish and denied it was his. Finally he called debt collectors because he wanted the full bill rather than just payment for the work he actually didI’m following up 5 months later. Toolbox have now written several letters telling me to take this review down or they will take me to court for ‘misleading statements’. The flat still isn’t finished as Toolbox have not been back to complete.

Took advantage of my disabled brother over charging him x3 (we called after the job was done and he said 2k and charged us 8k)doesnt now answer calls.) what it should have cost. Said it would take 2 weeks took two months due to haphazard work pattern which annoyed everyone in the neighbourhood as they chased out for wiring, only turning up a couple of hours a day. We had the main guy out to check and he said the work was up to standard and wanted paying the final installation payment.Unlevel sockets all wonky wiring not boxed in causing us to call in a different electrian to make lose wiring and wonky sockets good.Even they where shocked with the work carried out.Awful person you have been warned!Pictures below I wish I had taken more as it doesn't show all.

Mixed to be honestCertainly poor communication.I appreciate people are busy, but after two occasions where I understood we had booked a date, they did come on the third. Ian, who did the work, was good. However, Dave sent him out with the wrong spot lights and under cupboard lights. After 2 attempts and unexpected complications that were not mentioned in the quote, I drew a line and said let's stop there. A real quibble, bits of packaging and stripped wire and dust where drilled left where they landed.The bill added costs that I did not recognise as part of the service that morning.On the whole, I would not recommend.
