I bought this book as a present for a newborn and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! It's so quirky and full of fun facts. It would actually be perfect for any age at all.It was a pleasure dealing with Colin and he kept me well informed about progress of my order. Definitely a personal touch.I'm waiting now for more wee ones to come sling do I can gift them this book too. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

This is a unique book for young children, by Patrick Sanders, a multi-talented young man, who sadly left this life way too soon at the age of only 40.The illustrations are imaginative and immediate and the text is wonderfully true and yet satirical, at one and the same time.I have given this book to all the parents in our family of the generation below mine, and their children. The most special book they could possibly own. I have a couple of copies tucked away, just in case my youngest niece or younger child should ever bring a tiny person who needs to be welcomed to the World in Patrick’s inimitable fashion.Thoroughly recommended for all new parents and their tiny people.

A wonderful, touching book. What a beautiful, inventive view of the world and the welcome it holds.I bought two for some little newborns in our family and there are a few more I now have to get! But to be honest this is for adults as well as little ones.I loved reading it. This is a legacy book. To handed from one generation to another. X

This is perhaps THE loveliest book I have ever read! I read a LOT of children's books as I am a childminder .... this book is beautiful, funny, imaginative and truly genius. I bought two books as presents, I may well buy myself one to keep. The illustrations are magical, the story is utterly brilliant! Very highly recommended!

This book is a beautifully written and illustrated. It really has self love and the awareness of being loved regardless of who you are. Everyone is unique,the world is full of amazing things, and these are things to celebrate! The silly science facts are brilliantly thought out. A must have for any parents at bedtime or teachers in classrooms.

The book is beautiful, giggle-filled, heartfelt and to be cherished for years to come. The writing and illustration have something to entertain the littlest littlies through to cute clever clogs and boring grown ups. We are so glad we have a copy!
