Fairground Car Park
A good free car park. No tarmac surface so on a windy day the dust can be a bit wild!Lots of good walks from here, plus Coronation lake and excellent café

Fairground Car Park
Good size free car park. Great location to start your walk to Loe Bar (about an hour and quarter depending upon your speed) we took it leisurely with our dog. Coronation lake over the road, with nice cafe for a more sedate coffee.

A large open FREE car park. No shortage of space. A few minutes walk up to the centre of Helston which would present a problem for those with mobility issues but easy access to the lake and facilities there.

What a lovely CHANG£ no parking apps, no pay as u leave camera enforcement, no worries u made an error in judgement with a pending visit from the prince of darkness or fine. Sorry for rant" it's a free car park with access to the Coronation park and Penrose trail. It's a little jem

Lovely walk through the lake area. There is a cycle place where you can get repairs done. There are benches around so you can take a seat and watch the birds on the lake. It takes 7 minutes from there to get to the town.

This is a great FREE car park, within 5 minutes walking distance of Helston town centre and giving immediate access to the big boating lake and a super walk on good tarmac all the way to Penrose House and The Stables cafe. Beyond that (another 1.5 miles/2.5 Km) the walk can be continued along the Loe (pool) to the sand bar (Loe Bar) which is all that separates one of the largest bodies of natural (undammed) fresh water in Cornwall, from the Sea. This is a view which is difficult not to enjoy.

Free to park car park, to walk loe bar lake Totally beautiful walk . A Circular walk about 3 hours 40 minutes to four hours to walk dogs loved it
