Teachers Pet K9 Training

I contacted Craig for help with training our Dalmatian puppy as an Autism assistance dog for our son.The basic training started at 9 weeks old. We're just in the process of starting the suitability for an assistance dog with him. Roll forward 14 weeks, our pup can sit, lie down, drop, come and heel on command.It's been a lot of hard work from us but having Craig and our trainer Brian available to help has been brilliant and we cannot fault the service and advice we have received.Thank you Teachers Pet K9 Training!

Recently our young Great Dane x Caucasian Shepherd has become very reactive to dogs he doesn't know. So a quick call to Craig at Teachers Pets and we're enrolled on a course for reactive dogs. Because we live out on the West Coast, we begin with a video chat with Brian, so that he can understand our issues and give us some areas to start working on. Now after our first couple of sessions in person, we are so, so impressed. First off, Brian is super calm and gives clear and consistent instructions throughout. He's quick to correct and reassure you and help you see where you've been going wrong. We then got introduced to other clients and their pooches and within a couple of sessions he had us walking confidently amongst numerous other dogs that our pooch would have previously tried to devour. Its also been massively beneficial to meet other people who have had various struggles and hear about how much progress they have made. Now we are feeling so much more confident. Booked in again for next weekend and can't wait.

Olive 2 year old American bulldog and marble 1 1/2 year old collie lurcher cross!Can’t recommend highly enough we had two reactive dogs after they were attacked, we tried to fix the dogs ourselves via googling everything which just would not work finally I phoned Craig who was calming and confident they could turn them around we met Brian initially at wagg tails secure park he was excellent he showed us what to do and how to train this out of them we then met outside in public to increase the level of training, Brian gives you the tools you need to continue in a very clear and precise way you just have to follow what he advises! After a few sessions we could see marked improvements in both dogs I wish I had contacted k9 sooner and would recommend training from as soon as you get your puppy we went from having stressful un happy embarrassing walks where the dogs would feed off each others bad behaviour on back legs barking pulling to get to any dog to confident happy relaxed walks again! 1st class business, Brian is so nice, friendly very knowledgeable and a laugh too. Craig and Brian have been amazing to my August girl while we were on a trip overseas.We have never felt more at ease knowing our girl was in the great hands of these carers. Thank you so much guys, we’ll see you soon!

We've just had our first online consultation (due to living further away) and both Brian and Craig have been fantastic over the phone/video call. Felt so at ease from the minute I started talking to them and have given us great help and advice already. We can't wait to be able to meet in person and start the training course. Would 100% recommend for anyone needing any sort of help, there was no judgement, just support and advice!

My miniature dachshund, Bertie has been suffering with severe anxiety. After only one home visit, I have seen a massive improvement already. I intend using Teachers Pet again in the near future to continue with Bertie’s training.Highly recommend.
