Took my girlfriend here after going with my family for years. She loved it as much as I did - very friendly staff and easily accommodates for spicier pallettes.Affordable too!

Not worth for the money in any sense. I recommend you to take off the south Indian bit from your tag as the South Indian food you serve is nowhere near to south Indian. Pretty poor in quality right from poppadum served (fried in re-used oil – not sure whether it’s changed at least once every week!).

Went to Punjab last night ( 25.7.16) with my boyfriend, was really disappointed. The staff were weird and not friendly, no lime pickle?? Never been to an Indian and they've never had lime pickle before..Food mediocre, mixed grill ok, but the curry was far too wateryWouldn't go again

A very reliable restaurant. The staff are friendly and polite. I have beeneating there since the 1980s. (I am very full) Definitely give it a try.

Delightful experienceWe visited the restaurant for the first time after moving to Manchester. We wanted to try something new and we followed the recommendations of our waiter, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and As were all the staff. Had a lovely meal from starter to finish.

Punjab Tandoori Restaurant
The Punjab is a longtime favourite of mine and is my go to place on the curry mile. Their vegetarian selection is excellent, as are their amazing dosas. The quality of food is consistently high.and the service is excellent. It is nice to see a place bucking the current trend and concentrating on the food rather than decor and marketing speak.

Extensive menu, great variety and a bit different. Great Dhosas, but if you order as a starter you'd better be hungry! Attentive and friendly staff too.

Came here for my birthday. They gave us the entire top floor. Great food, service and atmosphere all night and great value. Best restaurant on curry mile.

Punjab Tandoori Restaurant
This is one of the few places on curry mile that does dosas and that alone makes it a worthwhile place to visit, however if you are in a party of more than 3-4 people you are going to wait and wait and wait. When the food finally comes, and if they have got the order right it's perfectly fine, but the overall experience and poor service ruin the meal
