An engineer visited to fix my oven and electric ceramic hob. The labour fee was for both jobs. While the oven was fixed, I was advised to buy a new electric ceramic hob. I was given a quote of £289. I was told it would be ordered and the engineer would return with the new hob to replace and I would not be charged a labour fee.After the engineer left, I checked online and discovered the same brand and model of the electric ceramic hob was going for £179-£180. I called their office and informed them about the prices I saw online from reputable companies. I received a take it or leave it" answer. I cancelled the order and went with another company.Castle Electric had added a labour fee into the price of the hob. Beware and aware of this dishonest company that unsuccessfully tried to cheat me. . Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!"

Great service. My hoover tumble drier broke down. Called and diagnosed over the phone. Made appointment and they were there as arranged. Set price call out plus cost of parts quoted. No surprises with the invoice. Fabulous. COVID rules stuck to. Mask worn all the time and thorough social distancing adhered to. Will stick with them.

A few days wait for an engineer appointment as they were busy, but once he was there the problem with a faulty washing machine was quickly diagnosed and fixed as he had the correct spare parts. Very reasonable call-out fee and cost of spares. Everything left clean and tidy.Strongly recommended.
