Western Taxis

Consistently good and reliable service. Can't fault them on that.However, although they claim that card payments are accepted, this is mostly incorrect.And then when they respond, they just tell you that you can book with the app and they don't answer the complaint about deceptive card acceptance claims!

Booked a Taxi via there web site 40 minutes ago, called there number to chase for an update and was informed the driver i was assigned is running behind and then she cancelled my booking after i hung up. Called back up right away and was told they had no idea how that's happenedVery poor

bang on time to pick us up early in the morning to the airport. safe driving. even gave my little one stickers after the ride.

Very late arrangement of a cab for dispatch had me really worried. No cab assigned 20 mins after the booked time of 3pm. Driver arrived long after booked time due to this, but once we were with them we made good time and the driver was really nice. A mixed bag on this occasion but I use Western regularly and they're usually really good. I expect that the extreme heat today has been a factor.

Terrible service.Pre-booked a 7 seater for 5.45pm. They called me at 5.41 to say they didn’t have any 7 seaters available and would send 2 taxis instead. The first one didn’t turn up until 6.10 pm and the second one was nowhere near so we had to make alternative arrangements!Will never use again!

Booked 2 taxis - Fantastic from taking the booking, to sending link to pay before journey to a prompt efficient collection with polite drivers. Definitely use again.

Pickup was on time. Opted for the set price and prepaid. The drive did no need to see my electronic receipt. Give the driver a different route to the one he was going to take. Go to where I wanted, I would use this service again.

Had a taxi from the middle of nowhere on the edge of Derby. Our return was provided by the same driver who took us. An excellent experience, arrived on time and was most patient with us. Certainly recommend this company and their excellent service

Worst taxi service I’ve ever ‘experienced’. Automated booking system didn’t work. Finally got to speak to a person and booked my taxi 9 hours ahead of my pick up time. Called to check taxi was on route 5 mins before pick up time automated response said they were trying to locate a taxi but had no estimate when they would be able to do so. Numerous calls went straight to same automated system. No option to speak to an operator. 18 mins after scheduled booking time I was contacted by an operator who said I needed to pay in advance and then hung up when I questioned this. Another operator called me 20 mins after the taxi was due to ask if I still needed a taxi….. significant cost and inconvenience to me. Quite simply you cannot trust them to arrive when you book them, only when it suits one of their drivers and the customer service is a joke.

First time use but impressed with how quick they sent a taxi and sent details of car , colour , make and registration. Not badly priced for a Saturday night
