Quiet spot in Leyton with plenty of space inside. Great, authentic somali food as usual, generous portions and good value for money. Need more choices of drinks though

Beautiful place with beautiful people. From my brother taking orders to the ones serving and preparing in the kitchen.First time I had the pleasure of visiting this place and was so positively overwhelmed by the atmosphere, food and the energy.Brother who served me really took care of my order. Everyone there was named Omer (a joke).If you want big hearty portions with authentic taste then it is a place to visit.PS: one request to the management, please stop people wasting so much food at the end. Ask them to have it packed to take away or give it away to needy.

Been to this place about 10 time over the last few months. First 4/5 times was amazing, food was great and the staff really cared.The last month every time I've been the meat is dry and tiny. The staff don't care anymore. If young women come in they will ask if everything is okay 5 times, if you're with a group of men, they won't even ask anymore.You're better off driving to al kahf or damal.

We got the beef and chicken with rice, thoroughly enjoyed. Will return to try the lamb!Would definitely recommend.*Update*We returned for the lamb…it certainly didn’t disappoint. We’ve visited multiple times now and it’s consistently hit the spot.Try their ginger tea with milk, pancakes…just everything really.

I go here often. Not being a Somali I love their cuisine and having tried quite a few different places. This at current is my top Somali restaurant within east London.Definitely try their beef steak.

Great local find... We were debating going in and the owner came out and had a chat with us and convinced us. Chef came out and just said he'd bring a selection for us. Amazing. Lamb, pasta, rice, a shank. Also got an amazing samosa and at the end of the meal, the owner offered us a freshly made pancake for free.Dinner cost £17 for two with two bottles of water and was huge. Amazing value, super friendly. The place is as local/authentic as it gets though... Definitely not one for a romantic dinner ha haha but everyone was really hospitable.
