I can't recommend Stephen enough. He put up a large book shelf for me on a stud wall that was needed to support very heavy art books and he did a brilliant job even though it was a small project for him. A total pro, great guy and a really good price - he saved me hundreds compared to other quote I got

Steve did our decking and was brilliant from the initial plan stage all the way through to the finished product. He suggested we go for glass balustrades and I am so glad he did as gives the decking that high end feel. Extremely high quality work and also very reliable. Steven was superb from start to finish. Very efficient, professional and friendly. Listened to how we wanted the decking to be and gave advice as well. Work extremely hard in all weathers that our beautiful country likes to give when working outdoors. The decking looks absolutely fantastic and will 100% use again in the future

Steve did several jobs for us as part of refurbishments on our property. These included fitting new flooring to the ground floor, replacing skirting boards and fitting new window sills. We are absolutely delighted with all the work Steve has done for us, he works to a very high standard and is also a throughly nice guy who was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Steve and SJM Carpentry. He installed new decking, as well as a new garage door and completed some other work to our home. All of the work has been completed to a very high standard, and Steve was very helpful through the whole process to take on board our ideas and then implement them.
