Doorstep Vet

I am thrilled with the service I get from Jo and Sarah. I get an in depth consultation which is much, much better than my former practice. They spend a lot of time with my cats finding out exactly where the problems are. They are thoroughly professional as well as kind and caring. Transporting my cats to a vetinary practice had become a real problem for me. Now I no longer have to worry. They really are the very best.

I had to have my dear cat put to sleep. Sarah and Jo were fantastic and spent a long time explaining the process and giving me time to say goodbye. They were so caring and supportive.I cannot recommend Doorstep Vet highly enough. Thank you so much.

I can't thank Jo and Sarah enough for coming to our rescue when no one else would help. Our 10 year old bullmastiff was unable to get up, we couldn't get him to our vets as we were unable to lift him. We knew our only option was to get our poor boy put to sleep and these 2 amazing ladies helped ease the pain and did it with a very caring professional manner. This morning I received a beautiful card from them both which was a very kind heartfelt gesture.Thanks again Jo and Sarah

Thank you so much to Jo and Sarah of Doorstep Vets who could not have been more accommodating of our short notice request to attend our house to euthanise our beloved family dog who declined quickly in the end with a terminal condition. They were absolutely compassionate and professional and made the whole sad event easier to bear and gave us the lovely, peaceful ending we had hoped for. I am quite certain having met them that they would be a perfect GP vet to establish a great long term relationship with too. Many thanks to them.

Would highly recommend doorstep vet. Great service at a reasonable price. I was extremely anxious as to how my very nervous rescue dog was going to react however Jo and Sarah were extremely patient and took the time to make him feel comfortable and were very gentle with him. They also spent extra time with us to check him out throughly and gave lots of helpful advice. Thank you again!

Sarah and Jo were absolutely fantastic. We had our cat peacefully put to sleep in his own bed. This is never easy, but the way they conducted it was impeccable and they were so sensitive, warm and kind. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used Doorstep Vet by default but it turned out to be what we would have wanted and wished for as we said goodbye to a very special member of our family….from my initial conversation with Sarah for making it possible at short notice to come to the house and Jo for giving up her time on a day when she wasn’t at work and making a very difficult day bearable….as a family we would like to thank Sarah and Jo for their professionalism empathy and compassion shown to our 13year old Black Labrador Bella and to us… I cannot recommend them highly enough….

We have called Jo and Sarah out twice. First time was for a check up and then for an issue with our dogs’ paw. Both times we were really impressed. The mobile surgery has everything a vet could possibly need and all with the added benefit of them coming to you. It’s night and day when compared to taking my dog to the vet. He used to be stressed as soon as he saw the place and tried everything not to go in, compare that to Doorstep vet where he literally runs in and rolls on his back ready to get lots of lovely attention from Jo and Sarah. The service is far more personal than the corporate practices and it’s always Jo so that has also put my dog at ease vs seeing a different vet every time. When he had an issue with his paw, Jo sorted it quickly and he was back to normal within a week. Couldn’t ask for a better vet and with the added convenience I can’t think of a reason not to call Doorstep Vet.

Doorstep vets are amazing, it takes the stress out of visiting the vets for both pet and owner. We took our very anxious cat Howie and they were amazing with him, really calm atmosphere and right outside of the house so didn't have far to travel which helped him. It also helps anyone with a busy lifestyle. Cannot recommend them enough and we're really grateful we discovered them. Thank you!

A very professional, caring and efficient service. We were looking after a friend's dog for August, who developed an ear infection. Jo and Sarah were able to visit in their van the day after I called. The back of the van is fitted out a mobile surgery, and the consultation and treatment could not have been easier. Jo kindly followed up by text and, as the van was nearby a couple of weeks later, she also generously checked on progress then for no extra charge. The service was very reasonably priced, with the bonus of avoiding driving, parking, and the dreaded waiting room experience. Would highly recommend.
