Wickes Plymouth

I went in on black Friday mainly to use the Toilet as there are no public toilets in sight.But while I was there I had a walk around the store to look for some screws and was amazed by the price of the materials and other items.The screws were reasonably priced and I will be going back to get some more soon.I would highly recommend Wickes for their prices and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Recently had our bathroom done after being designed by Beth at the Plymouth store of Wickes & it was brilliant from start to finish & would recommend Beth to design anyone’s bathroom. She also designed our kitchen which is being done in about 10 weeks time.

Extremely poor. We have a problem with our new bathroom installed just one year ago and it’s leaking already and their suggestion was to get another plumber. Pay him and claim the money back from Wickes. Other than that they would see what they could do. Not very good answer when you have water coming out of a new bathroom.

i like wickes - but i don't like being had.Their 2 x 1 pse is more than tripple the price of the competition. Stealth moves like this turn this trade buyer off - 'you will loose more than that quick gain from me now not using you - well done !

Has pretty much everything to do with d.i.y , I was looking to replace my toilet. They had good variety. The staff were helpful too.

Customer service is horrific. I have a bad back and struggle to lift anything at arm height I asked for help to load something into my car. This seemed like I’d asked for them to lift the Earth into my car. Really embarrassed me and then proceeded to say “no one wants to answer”. Staff need serious customer service training.

I had a kitchen designed at this store and used their own fitters. 5 months on and it is still not completed. The store has washed their hands of the issue and were quick to put the onus back to me, due to sub standard fitting. The kitchen now needs a redesign removed and reinstall. Avoid at all costs.

** Posting on behalf of my Mum** Seriously disappointed in the support from Wickes, or lack of! I had a kitchen designed by Wickes which was supposed to be fitted 5 weeks ago, the contractor has been a complete let down, excuses after excuses and passes the blame to everyone else, says he’s going to turn up then never does, haven’t seen him since he came to work out a start date, so far I’ve had a chippy come out to fit a washing machine, a guy that doesn’t even work for the contractor come out to put a few cupboards together, another guy come for a few hours to put another few cupboards together (it was his first day working for the contractor) then today had another different guy come out to fit the flooring which I refused as the cupboards were still not fully assembled which he agreed he wouldn’t be able to start to fit the flooring so instead put a few cabinets on the wall, I also want to point out that the electrics and plumbing hasn’t even been started to be moved yet. Just to warn everyone the contractor company is called J-Mec building services. Every time I have spoke to Wickes their response has been oh we’re sorry, we’ll get back to you, or said there’s not much they can do, funny that there’s nothing they can do but have happily taken all my money! still nothing has been resolved! Would not recommend getting Wickes to supply a kitchen or bathroom especially if J-Mec building services are involved. I shall post a photo of 5 weeks worth of work!

Great stock selection, with easy ordering for items not on shelves. Customer service staff really knowledgeable and helpful.
