Gas Road Car Park
Ideal car park if shopping or going to the park. Hard to find it if you're new to the town as no obvious signs. Ample parking but spaces fill up quickly.Require traffic warden or parking attendant due to traffic.

Gas Road Car Park
A very busy car park offering easy access into Pontypridd town centre. This is a council car park so the prices are very reasonable and even free at certain times of year.Due to its proximity to the town centre this car park can get very busy and you can sometimes queue for a while to get into the car park and then realise there are no spaces.There are also a couple of disabled spaces here. There is a slight slope between the car park and Taff Street so it might be difficult for some wheelchair users.

From 1st June 2021, parking charge fees now applies at some time weekdays. Check the board at the car park for details. It's 50p at least minimum charge but take note the pay meter only takes coins and gives no change. The car park gets filled quickly so be prepared to queue for a space.

Good access to carpark, however requires more disabled bays and for them to be enforced as cars regularly park in disabled bays with no blue badge

Does not take card and does not have an option to pay by phone or app. Though shops and cashpoints are close enough to get cash if you make a mad dash to one and back.

Total shambles, it needs some kind of barrier system or have it manned, it's the busiest car park for miles, poor visability of spaces available, people just drive in and start searching when the place is obviously full.The only saving grace is its cheap and also free on some days, but be prepared to wait an hour.
