I know absolutely nothing about guitars, and snapped one of my strings on mine. The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful in showing me how to change it for next time. Definetely a brilliant shop for music supplies and friendly faces wholl help anyone no matter ability or knowledge. Definetely be back for any other help.Highly recommend

I’ve been popping in and out of here for a good few years . I have say just to get strings and set ups by Richard but really in a time of online retailing can’t really compare the customer experience . A great place to cut your teeth , the knowledge and experience just can’t get in the digital world . Great setups by Richard . Tom has a wealth of experience in the musical retail environment . Support your local music retailer pay a bit extra as not just packet of strings it’s the customer experience .

Excellent service. I had ran into issues when trying to restring my guitar and the gentleman in the shop couldn't have been more helpful and showed me how to do it in future. Very reasonably priced as well. Can't recommend enough.

I'd say the best music shop in town and I wouldn't be kidding there is only ONE.But this shop is a Aladdins' cave of bargains plus the bonus of informed knowledge and a great repair serviceI've been using Hamilton Music Centre since 1975 and I have nothing but praise for Tommy and Richard the current repair specialistThere is always a deal there is always the chat you don't get THAT in the internet.Strings n Things plus a huge variety of musical instruments on board to be tried outGive it a go you wont be disappointed

First visit today. Great shop. Bit of an Alladins cave for a big kid like myself. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Will definitely use again.
