Texaco Madigans Court

I was in this store yesterday but to a bad experience. I was in the queue with a basket full of items and had put a bottle in my pocket as i had no room. Much to my dismay, a member of staff had approached and asked why the bottle was in my pocket. I explained why. This reason wasnt 'good enough' and was asked to leave the store. I was very sickened by this and wont ever be back. VERY rude and hateful staff

A completely revamped filling station/ shop under the Spar Banner. Wide forecourt makes it very accessible to the petrol pumps and the shop has an enormous selection of food etc with brand names and most things that the average house would need re grocery etc. Sitting just of the main road it is ideally situated.

Local shopping convenient but prices need to be more competitive. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Good shop. Wee bit cramped around checkout area. The hot food must be good as it always goes quite fast so its either a feast or a famine so to speak". Toilet facility often blocked off with a trolley but that may have been around strict covid times

I go to this store often as it is very handy for me and the staff are always kind and helpful towards me. However I was in the other day and the manager was awfully rude and ignored me when I asked for help. I have worked in customer service myself and it is truely not that hard to treat people kindly. It is such a shame as the normal staff are always friendly. Won’t be back.

Fantastic shop. Such a huge range of food and household necessities to choose from. There is a hot food deli full of delicious food including chicken curry, cheesy pasta, baked potatoes and yummy fries as well as a full sandwich bar. The deli staff are amazing, very accommodating and helpful. There is also a butcher counter and ice cream/cafe counter. There are huge selections of prepped dinners available to pick up with offers. Some of the reviews left talk about the shop being expensive, it's never going to be the same price as Tesco Own Brand products but the quality is amazing and you get what you pay for.

The pumps are prepay only, but they failed to install a proper system for it. Instead of putting a hold on the card, like any automated pump, the customer has to estimate how much fuel he is going to need, then pay, and the difference gets refunded. The refund can take days to arrive. They are also incapable of issuing proper receipts. Instead, they just make up random numbers to match the total amount. The receipt is useless and has to be amended by the customer. It's just plain stupid.

Cheapest place at the minute to get petrol, I can see why. Put a tank of there 97 super unleaded through my car, running terrible all of a sudden. Topped up with £20 of my usual fuel and running perfect, never again. Also a nightmare, takes 10 minutes queuing just to get some fuel.

Good big shop with plenty on offer staff very friendly also has a forecourt with the petrol reasonably priced.
