I urge everyone who is thinking of buying dubarry boots NOT to.You will be happy with the comfort and look BUT further down the line when the sole falls off and you try and get them repaired and every shoe repair shop will say they cannot be repair because of the materials used.I had to send my boots off to Holland to have them replaced with a different brand of sole. Now my other boots are about to come apart

Both soles fell off my $260 gortex deck shoes but they refused to take responsibility. Un-Irish to have such a poor service. Bought from this shop but HQ 'dealt' with complaint

UPDATED FOLLOWING REPAIR...The soles of my Dubarry Ultima boots detached with no warning during an offshore sailing trip which meant that I was without boots for 7 days. So that was extremely disappointing. However I'm pleased to say that Dubarry have shown goodwill and have replaced the soles of the boots via their repair partners.
