An entire team of rude, ignorant and incompetent people. I won't disclose the details but they make incredible mentally unwell patients upset and traumatised knowing their triggers, belittle and contradict the patient when they try to explain their difficulties and, above all, have no one on the end of the phone (50+ phone calls completely ringing off) AND no working email (any email attempt just doesn't send, despite being given this email by the team personally). They are the most vile, lazy, rude and sometimes downright cruel people" to work in mental health. And all this towards their patients who are mentally ill and coming to them for help."

They are very racist and rude.They injected me with an antipsychotic depot three times during about 11 years. First they injected me for 1 year and half with highest dose(paliperidon 150(8months)30 hours akatisia side effect per week-50mg) and after 1 year that they stop it, the inject me again with middle dose of Clopixol(300mg weekly(2months)-250mg fortnightly) for up to 44 weeks, 12 to 4/5 hours akatisia side effect per week. And 6 months after they stop it again they inject me with Clopixol depot with lowest dose, 200mg 9 weeks(weekly) which I had average 6 hours Akatisia side effect per week-and then reduce it every 6 months by second opinion doctor certificate which I received-175mg 6 months weekly-200mg fortnightly-175mg fortnightly-and now I am on 175 every 3 week which I have 1 hour and half akatisia side effect per week(average) but they say that they are injecting me 500mg Clopixol every three week which is not true and may be they inject me up to 5 years to 50mg Clopixol every four weeks which dosage under 100 mg doesn’t have Akatisia side effects.

Not a hospital it's Barratt Homes a building company from Manchester. I was taken here mistakenly when my mother had a broken knee. Saw people from Manchester violently attack a girl from Tunstall. If you think you need medical help ask for a X-ray it's the only evidence that proves you need a doctor.

I suffer with bad epilepsy and myself and my husband gave them directions on how to help with my seizures. Instead, they told me they stop on their own" which is false. I had to discharge as I almost died. Screaming was so bad from other patients

DISCUSTING service DO NOT go there is a complete waste of time they are messing with peoples lives and heads. My son needed help due to mental health issues. After seeing a number of different staff and telling them he has suicidal thought, hears voices and tries to harm himself they decided to just give him some leaflets to read and told him he can call them 24/7 if he wants to talk to someone bearing in mind they hardly ever answer the phone. I told them we will not be calling them again asking for help. My son thought he was going to get some help and they have completely let him down. After reading other reviews from different people on their West Park website it’s disgusting that these people are asking for help and they are not getting the help and support they so desperately need and ask for. Something needs to be done about this these people who need and are asking for help are someone’s mother, farther, son, daughter and so on they can’t keep treating people like this the reviews say it all.

Don't waste your money with the Dignitas Clinic -these people will assist" you"

West Park Hospital is an absolute disgrace. If you care about your family member, stay as far away as possible. Patients are at best neglected, at worse deliberately abused and mistreated. In the month that I have had dealings with this appalling excuse for a hospital" I have lost count of the number of vulnerable people who have attempted or successfully hung themselves

How this alleged 'mental health hospital' is still allowed to operate the way it does is criminal.The majority of staff I have had dealings with are unprofessional, incompetent, uncooperative yet still have the audacity to be arrogant. Certain staff in particular appear to take a dislike to a patient and make it blindingly obvious they don't want to help.Getting through on the phone is a lottery and if you are lucky enough to speak to someone, their attitude is abysmal.The Crisis Team should be renamed The Couldn't Care Less Team. When I rang them they told me it was an out of hours service and why was I ringing them if I am from Darlington, I should be ringing West Park. I had been all day but no answer!As many other reviews have said, they don't get back to you when they said they will, important messages don't get passed on and appointments not communicated properly. A text message the evening before a meeting with no actual time given is just unacceptable.They have sectioned a very ill and vulnerable person whom they told us initially would be an in patient for a few months then released them 5 days later without even informing us, and told them to make their own way home.They informed us a CTO Tribunal was to be held via Zoom but would not give us the link beforehand and went ahead with the Tribunal anyway which I understand is not legal. I read the resulting report and it was full of inaccuracies and wrong assumptions about the patient.They made initial arrangements to give help and support to a patient to cope in the community then didn't follow it up.They are very unwilling to communicate and cooperate with relatives who are trying to deal with a mentally ill person daily.I have much evidence of these experiences and more which I am taking to my MP and hopefully get something done about this dreadful place.I would advise anyone suffering mental health issues to go elsewhere. There's no compassion, no empathy, no understanding of complex mental illnesses at this place.

I really hate to write something as negative as I’m about to, but the community mental health service here is absolute trash.Over the past year and 2 months I’ve had little to no contact with the CPN. I call to try and arrange appointments every day and receive nothing back. I’m told I’ll get a call from the CPN that day and again, nothing. No appointments since May this year, no attempt to contact me..considering my circumstances this should’ve happened. I understand the NHS is stretched and it’s taking longer to get help, but to just be fobbed off is an absolute joke. The utter lack of care here is disgusting. I give up even bothering to try now.
